"I spoke with a customer service rep and explained that the item was less expensive from 2 other retailers and that I had tried to apply a coupon code, but it wasn’t working. The rep’s manager agreed to provide me with a 10% discount, but only a $40 discount was applied. I raised issue to this and all I got was an email back from Houzz saying that I was granted another discount on a future order, not to exceed $40. The item I purchased was $1968 so the original 10% discount that was agreed upon would have amounted to $196.80. I am very dissatisfied and will likely never do business with Houzz again unless my issue is addressed appropriately. Thank you for allowing me to provide feedback. Regards, -Chris"

"I ordered this as a gift for my brother. It is a delicate item and was packed carefully in lots of bubble wrap. I was a bit surprised to find that it's two dimensional; I believe that it was pictured that way on Houzz but it didn't register with me. Nevertheless, the parakeet is colorful and beautiful. It was hand made in South America and came with a personal note of thanks from the artist, which makes it extra special. I'm sure my brother will like it and appreciate the reminder of the parakeet we had as children."
"Excellent in terms of order ease and communication/updates about my order were also excellent but the pillows ordered were a major bummer- the material appeared to be woven in the photos, but it was some type of cheap flat weave polyester or something. Big disappointment and not worth what I paid for them."

"The order came quicker than predicted and that was a good thing.
However, the choice I made was incorrect and the hinges didn't fit.
I got confusing info from Houzz about returning.
The indicated that I would receive an E-mail from ROK (the supplier). I did not receive anything from ROK.
I finally dug into Houzz and found a message from them (Houzz I think) that gave instructions about returning. It indicated there would be a mailing label sent - none came.
I have now returned the $106 order. Cost me $15 (postage and $100 insurance).
Now I am waiting for snail mail to get it to California and then I wait for ROK to refund my money to my credit card.
This has not been a good experience for me."
"I give 2 stars only because the quality of the item was good, notwithstanding the state it came in. I bought a 2 tier under-counter organizer.
1) The item came loosely packed in a brown packing box. When reviewing the video they pointed me to online, the video portrayed a beautiful colorful glossy box with illustrations and instructions. This did not come with this package. This was the first indication that this was a return and the returnee was unable to put the item back into its original box but managed to do so with the packing box.
2) The item was supposed to come with the tracks attached to the drawer. One drawer was OK, but the second drawer had one track detached and the second track was hanging by a thread, one screw missing and two screws about to fall off.
3) I contacted Houzz with in-Houzz emails and on the first business day, waited almost 8 hours. Other than automated 'we got the email' responses, nothing else happened. IMHO - Be cautious with Houzz. VERY difficult to buy from and work with!"
