"so I don't usually write up these kind of reviews, but I had an employee go way above and beyond to help me and I feel he needs to be recognized for this. I recently bought a part for my car that I needed by Saturday August 20th for a tune, so I ordered it Friday august 12th and chose 2 day shipping. I figured this would account for any issues that I always experience with fed ex. on Wed I get the notification that fed ex will not be delivery my pack when it should have been on Tuesday and they have no up dated delivery date for me but that it was held up somewhere across the country. so I reached out to a fb group that I am in just asking if anyone had this part for sale so I could make sure I got it in time. I was contacted by Dane from the same group, he said he worked or iiR and would try his best to help me out. he started an investigation immediately with fed ex and began digging. today, Friday aughust 19th I got a notification from FedEx that my package would be delivered the following Monday, way past the day I needed it for my tune. I let Dane know because it was frustrating and he understood. a couple hours later after bith Dane and myself talked to fed ex multiple times I got a notification that at around 1pm fedex put the item on a truck to deliver it to me, 1 hour later and I got the package. Dane was tremendous to work with and went so far beyond to help me that I couldn't believe it. he worked hard to get me my stuff even when the mistake wasn't iiR or mine. he needs to be recognized and praised as this is what makes iiR a GREAT company. he is a big reason why I am so proud to be sponsored by this company and why I will always come back to iiR for all of my car needs. Great job man, I appreciate all the hard work and help"
"Talk about a absolutely horrible company. Ordered a few things for my sti. Shipped fast with great INITAL customer service. Once they got the sale they disappeared. I ordered a complete fog light kit since my sti didn’t come with any. The glass olm housing were described as a complete kit with both wiring and a new switch bezel. Sounded great and exactly what I needed so obviously I ordered it. When all my orders finally came in the olm fog kit simply had just the glass housings, a plastic mount to put them into the bezels and cheap power/ground wires. The webpage clearly states what it comes with and when questioned it turned into days of let me contact the distributor. They only fixed the description of the item when I told them to simply change it so they don’t run into this issue again. I was offered a $30 refund to buy the harness and switch separately, welp the harness alone is $70. So instead of gaining thousands more in sales simply from me, I’ll make sure to go out of my way to warn anyone else about what a terrible company they are. Mistakes happen, but how you fix them and utilize(or don’t in this case) you customer service is what separates a mediocre company from a great company. I wouldn’t buy a oil drain plug crush washer from these clowns."
"I ordered a part that I was told was on back order. They told me he part would be in end of January. Beginning of February I contact them and get told that it will now be end of April before the part comes in. However they do have an alternative. The alternative of course is overpriced due to name brand and is a few hundred dollars more expensive. So, I pay instead extra money for a severely overpriced part, no discount, no we will upgrade your shipping. Nope, just a oops the part didn’t come in when we said it will so now you can pay more money so you can get your car running and get screwed without us treating you like a valued customer. Oh and in case this gets questioned I still have the emails where I am told end of January. Just thought I’d add that. So since customers clearly are not valued I will shop elsewhere from now on."
"worst customer service ever bought a ap mount and did not fit right so i want to return it but no can't return because i install it but how could i know if it fit or not until i install it and that the they said oh is you car. i have pictures and videos to **** is not the car is the mount .so don't buy again think from this company can't return defective item sound like something illegal is going on "
"Bought new exhaust system from them. What they sent was a used dented system. I called to complain that the system was used and dented and there answering system stated they are not taking calls due to covid 19. I contacted my credit card company. they contacted them and I got a RMA number and prepaid return shipping label They told my credit card company i never returned items and they never got them. I have a receipt from fedex stating who signed for items and the date and time. Total scammers. I believe now this company is trying to collect from fedex stating they damaged it during shipping. That is not the case. box was undamaged and the items were put in box damaged and used. Beware if you buy from them"

"I ordered a set of Coilovers that had a lead time of 3-4 weeks. I emailed customer service @ IIR every week after 3 weeks, just to get an update on my order. They told me “looks like your order has another week left!”
After another 3 weeks of hearing the same thing and not receiving any concrete information, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I emailed the company making the coilovers and asked for an update. They responded immediately, telling me that my order had already been completed and was shipped out - they even provided me with the tracking number... I have heard nothing from IIR about my order being shipped despite them promising that they would “contact me right away when my order ships.”
I will not being doing business with IIR again; it’s pathetic that I had to contact the manufacturer to get my tracking information. This defeats the entire purpose of having a middle man like IIR. "

"This company will not accept the return of any electronic products even if they have not been opened and the packaging is in perfect condition. The product description on Import Image Racing website for Hypertech tuning software is insufficiently clear and resulted in the $420 purchase of software that is unsuitable for my sons car. Import Image Racing will not accept the return of this item even though the item has not been opened or used and is in exactly the same condition as received with photos sent to Import Image Racing to support this. Ouch, cut badly by this company's sharp practices and highly questionable policies. "

"So This Is my first time ordering from IIR. All I can say is this is BY FAR the WORST service I have ever experienced. I ordered an NRG Weighted Shift knob and ordered overnight shipping on November 22nd Of 2014. This was a Saturday and I needed it by Tuesday. I figured they had off on the weekend and would ship it out Monday id get it Tuesday, It is currently December 1st and I have yet to even get a shipping notice. I sent a email stated I would like to A. Have my order canceled and Receive a full refund or B. Have my shipping refunded as I ordered overnight and its been two weeks. Their response Is What prompted this review. "We will not give a refund as that is our company policy. If you would like your order cancelled please note there is a 10% fee." I Will NEVER work with this company again and anyone I know who mentions ordering from here I will STRONGLY advise they take their business elsewhere."
