"Classic bait-and-switch, cameras are Malaysia edition and do not come with battery?? 30-day warranty only, customer service sucks, total letdown."
"This vendor is committing fraud! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Please look at the many other customer comments Re: infinitiphoto. GOOGLE, how can you continue to support this company on your site!"
"Same old bait and switch. No battery or charger included abnd tried to upsell. WHen I said no, they tried to get me to buy the US warranty. NO where on their site does it say its GREY market. Buyer Beware. and They act like they dno;t care when you cancell an order. I guess there are enough people buying and taking their bull to keep them in business. I will only buy from stores that advertise in major publications."
"these people are crooks. do not bother wasting you time with them. the advertise a low price for a camera body hopping that you'll order it and then they'll try to tack on $150 batteries that you can buy elsewhere for $10. If you don't order all there over priced crap for the camera, then after waiting many weeks they'll tell you we are out of stock on this camera after they have your credit card number. it's kinna funny because even though they say they are out of stock you can go back to the website and yes you guessed it, it's still there. i really do not know how these people can sleep at night. they are a bunch of scam artist. don't believe me, give them a ring and listen to the tone of voice of the person who answers the phone. they're rude as hell too. BOTTOM LINE, I KNOW THE PRICE LOOKS GOOD, BUT BY ALL MEANS DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND BUY FROM THEM. (they'll ask for it before they even quote you a price)."
"I thought I was getting a good deal, but I ended up cancelling my order, because I was badgered with $400 for a battery and charger and additional $700 if I wanted the English Version of a Camera. Then I decided to Cancel the order. Don't buy from here. Very BAD service and false advertising."
"I placed a too-good-to-be-true order from infinitiphoto.com and then became alerted the next morning when their website seemed to have disappeared. I started looking around and found a disconcerting number of fraud reports and reviews for the company (and it's many incarnations) and became worried. I called their customer service line the next morning to check up on my order. Immediately I received the run around, being transfered to dead-end extensions and put on hold. When I finally got somebody to speak to me about my order the first thing he said was that there would be a delay because my shipping address didn't match my billing address. I told him that per the website, the alternate shipping address was listed on my credit card. His next line of attack was to ask me if I wanted a battery and warranty with my order...exactly what I was expecting to hear after reading other reviews. When I told him I wanted exactly what was in the factory sealed box advertised on his site, he responded that there were 7 different boxes made by the manufacturer. I responded that only one was listed on his site, and I wanted exactly what was listed. He said it came with a 16MB SD card, though the website says 32MB. Do I want a warranty? I want the USA warranty advertised on your site. I was flabbergasted at his next accusation. He asked "How many companies have you tried to order this camera from? My records show that you have been trying to order this camera from lots of companies of the past month." I replied "Excuse me? I'm not sure what your accusing me of, but that's just not true." Next, he tells me that he just received a message from his shipping department and the order is back ordered." I was actually glad to hear this has I figured it was my only way out of this crooked deal. I asked him to cancel my order...I think he already had.
I only wish I had found these reviews earlier so I wouldn't feel this foolish. Do not take your chances with these crooks."
"Terrible experience. Heard nothing from them for 10 days, then received an email saying I had to call them. They didn't return calls for 3 more days. Finally got a hold of someone who tried to upsell me on a battery. Tried to cancel the order, but was told it couldn't be cancelled but that I could return the camera when it arrived (even though they hadn's shipped it yet!) DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY."
"On August 10 I placed an order at the web store www.infinitiphoto.com for a Fuji Finepix F10 digital camera and I received, shortly after, the order confirmation on my e-mailbox
and the total was well below $300.00 . The day after I found a message from a representative of Infinitiphoto who kindly asked to be called back asap. On August 12 I called him back. I thought it was just a routine confirmation call. That it is why I was taken completely by surprise when he started saying that my camera came with a 20 minutes no rechargeable battery and without charger. So he suggested to get a rechargeable battery and a charger. "There are three sizes" he said. "Two hour for 49.99; four hours for 69.99 and six hours for 89.99" I don't know why I believed him long enough to accept the two hour battery with charger for 49.99. But something didn't sound right so as soon as we hung up, I went on the Internet and I did a little research and I discover:
1) There is only ONE kind of battery that goes with my camera and is called NP-120.
2) The NP-120 is included with the camera.
3) A separate charger is not included but you can charge the battery inside the camera just connecting the camera to the power.
So I called infinitiphoto right back to cancel the order of the extra battery and charger. Not even 30 minutes passed after my first call to him but he said that the order was already shipped and could not be cancel but I could return it if I wanted to. One more lie: the order was shipped 5 days later on August 17 as shown on the UPS tracking number details.
I got my camera on August 18. Imagine my surprise when I found in the package only the camera box with the camera and the accessory included and nothing else. No extra battery no extra charger no extra anything except the charge on my Credit Card: $ 481.49. So I called infinitiphoto and when I asked why the extra charge he told me that what I receive was the "Starter Package deal Fuji Finepix deal with 4 hour battery". The fact is that the only think I received was the new camera in its box with all the accessory that came with the camera. Nothing more nothing less. There are no other ways, size or package that Fuji makes for this camera: You get it in this box or you don't get it at all. He insisted that I got the "double whopper delux" and when I asked him why he lied to me about the shipping date and the batteries he started saying that I was silly and I did not make any sense. At that point I realize I was just wasting my time so I kindly terminated the conversation.I did not consider to return the camera since infinitiphoto.com has a policy of a minimum10% restocking fee on the returns plus shipping and handling are not refundable plus I have to pay for the shipping back. Since it is unclear how the extra charge has been handled in this scam, I could end up loosing $ 100.00 or more if I accept to return it. I am still fighting with these scummers but what is important is that my experience may help somebody to avoid this trap."
"Purchased a digital video camera, 2 days after I get an email saying that they have to confirm my order. When you call they try to sell you accesories if you do not purchase the accesories some how the order gets delayed until you decide to cancel. Don't waste your time with this company."
"The descriptions on the website are innacurate. thay advertise unbelievable prices that sound too good to be true and they are. What they are selling is an OEM item which has no accessories at all. A sidenote: I contacted Sony and they informed me that there is no authorized dealer by that name and that they do not supply ANY camcorders that do not include the accessories. I was also never told that I would not recieve the item for 8 weeks until the fifth call I made. Then I had to cdancel my credit card because they told me that I would pay because I had already ordered. DO NOT BUY"
"Have never felt so cheated by a company! They advertised a great price, I placed an order. Next thing I know, the camera is on backorder...fine, I'll wait. A month later, I call the general 800# and am told they have it in stock and given an exact price w/shipping and taxes. So I call again regarding my order and am told they only have it as a "kit" for almost $300 more than what I was quoted only moments before w/no explanation. Hmmm."
"They advertise rock bottom low price (in my case, $439 for Minolta DIMAGE A200) and when you order online, send an email asking you to call them. What happens next depends on the particular salesman. To be fair, they just try to scheme and trick you into paying much more one way or another. They do it without breaking the law: if you cancel the order, you will not lose money.
"
"had the worst experience i have ever had dealing with a supposed business. was quoted a price of $600 for a television, and was then badgered for about ten minutes to buy a wall mount, hd cable, and an extended warranty. After reluctantly agreeing to a bottom line price of $1000 for everything, the salesman took my credt card info, when i was then informed that the final price would be$1300. i did not understand this, and asked the salesman where the additional $300 came from. he informed me that it was slaes tax and shipping insurance.. $1300 is a far cry from the $600 i was originally prepared to spend. after telling the salesman i would think about it, he proceeded to call me "cheap" and said,"dont waste my time." he then informed me that my credit card would be charged a $100 cancellation fee for a price that i never agreed to pay for in the first place. i think that alleged business like this one should be banned from doing business and i hope everyone takes my advice and stays away from these morons."
"These guys are OBSCENE.
They offered a low price on a package of gear and the SONY DCR-DVD403. After placing the order, they sent me an email, asking for "confirmation". I expected a pitch to buy more gear; they told me instead that the camera did not come with a battery: would I like one? I pointed out that their advertisement specified a battery. "Well, you'll need a charger, then" said David at extension 240. After three tries of asking the price, he said "299" Two dollars 99 cents, perhaps? (quoting now) "Whaddaya think yer buyin', a bag of chips?! TWO Hundred ninety-nine!" That would make my charger approximately $100 MORE than the 2.5 hour Li ion battery. How could I pass that up? I did.
I cancelled the order, but still don't know if my card was charged.
Read their fine print carefully: they cover themselves by making themselves not responsible for misprints. It's not bait and switch - it's what we call the "puppy dog ploy": you want your stuff, and they hope you won't pull the plug before you do the math.
One positive report: they have not charged my card after I told them to stick it. Give them that, at least

"Absolutely HORRIBLE service! I called to order a HD Camcorder because they had the lowest price on the net. The moment I received an email from them about "verification" I knew I was in for a sales pitch to get me to order accessories or extended warranty. To my surprise I fell for it and ordered alot of the accessories but when I realized the error of my ways I called back to cancel the order because I found a better deal on the net. Keep in mind I had placed the order less than 24hours ago, they said "no we can not cancel your order because you already confirmed the purchase with us" I was completely taken aback by this. My experience is if it hasn't shipped any retail or wholesale store will gladly cancel your order but OHHHH NOOO, not them. Needless to say I had to call my credit card company to actually report my credit card as stolen since they could stop them from charging my card since they already had my credit card information."
