"I tried to purchase a camera from them this morning. Asked if there was any tricks, US warranty, not refurbished, etc. He assured me it was all good. Gave them my credit card, then he said, oh, we take the battery and charger out of the box, would you like to buy them? So for only $300 more, they were going to sell me the included items in the box. An extremely unethical company!"
"I placed a too-good-to-be-true order from infinitiphoto.com and then became alerted the next morning when their website seemed to have disappeared. I started looking around and found a disconcerting number of fraud reports and reviews for the company (and it's many incarnations) and became worried. I called their customer service line the next morning to check up on my order. Immediately I received the run around, being transfered to dead-end extensions and put on hold. When I finally got somebody to speak to me about my order the first thing he said was that there would be a delay because my shipping address didn't match my billing address. I told him that per the website, the alternate shipping address was listed on my credit card. His next line of attack was to ask me if I wanted a battery and warranty with my order...exactly what I was expecting to hear after reading other reviews. When I told him I wanted exactly what was in the factory sealed box advertised on his site, he responded that there were 7 different boxes made by the manufacturer. I responded that only one was listed on his site, and I wanted exactly what was listed. He said it came with a 16MB SD card, though the website says 32MB. Do I want a warranty? I want the USA warranty advertised on your site. I was flabbergasted at his next accusation. He asked "How many companies have you tried to order this camera from? My records show that you have been trying to order this camera from lots of companies of the past month." I replied "Excuse me? I'm not sure what your accusing me of, but that's just not true." Next, he tells me that he just received a message from his shipping department and the order is back ordered." I was actually glad to hear this has I figured it was my only way out of this crooked deal. I asked him to cancel my order...I think he already had.
I only wish I had found these reviews earlier so I wouldn't feel this foolish. Do not take your chances with these crooks."
"I ordered a camcorder at a great price from these guys. When I informed them that I did not want any of the extras like batteries and such they sent me a notice (see below) stating that there was high demand for the item and that they were out. I called the store and asked to order my item, they told me that it was in stock and available. To me it seems that they are advertising low prices and trying to make up the profit margin on supporting equipment. I understand the strategy, what I can't appreciate is not honoring the price if the customer doesn't fall for it.
Dear (customer name)
Due to excessive demand, the item you ordered has been oversold. Your order will be canceled and we will notify you when the item becomes avaliable. We regret any inconvenience.

"Order Nikon Coolpix 8700 for $459 plus a $50 manufacturers rebate, as identified on their website. Told shipment would be on Friday (this was Wednesday). Sent email to call them to confirm address on Sunday. Called them on Monday. They told me that the unit does not come with a battery and they could sell me one for $99 (base model). I told them no thanks I will get it at best buy ($30). They wanted to sell me a warranty, I said no. Then they said that I ordered the Malaysian model and that the U.S. model would be around $200 more. I then cancelled my order. BTW, Nikon did not have a rebate for this model. Bait and Switch, be careful."
"FRAUD-FRAUD-FRAUD! BAIT&SWITCH. Called to order CanonSD550 $419. Asked if in stock=yes. Asked if New-In Box=yes. Asked if US Model per Canon Website (vs. import)=yes. Asked how long to receive in California=6-7 days. Placed order. Asked did I want any accessories? Said price was for camera only. Standard $69 for memory + charger etc. Said no - just what comes inside box. Asked if I wanted English version vs. Malaysian (all lang are selectable in bios) and said price for english is $499. Check bbb.org and you'll see they along with most of these Brooklyn, NY based boilerrooms are classic bait and switch. PLS. REPORT THEM TO BBB AND TO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AS THEY GIVE LEGIT BUSINESS A BAD RAP."
"I placed an order at this store for a camera that they listed in stock. A few days (and many unanswered emails later), they said the camera was backordered with a 2 to 3 week delay. They had advertised this camera as in stock and ready to ship. I ended up having to cancel the order, because they would not respond to my contact efforts. "
"I ordered a EOS DIGITAL REBEL (300D) DIGITAL CAMERA for only $360. I received an e-mail stating "Thank you for your order:
We have received your order but for verification purposes please call us". I called them back and found that the deal is a scam. They don't sell the camera for that price. They simply want to rip you off. I cancelled my order and put a stop payment on my credit card, but they charged my card anyway at a higher price. Then they sent me a package. I refused delivery. I got my money back from my bank. The bank is now trying to get the money from these crooks. Be aware this is a scam. If you order something from them they get your credit card number when you order and they will rip you off."

"Absolutely the worst experience ever. No shipment after 5 business days. When I finally talked to a person the upsell began trying to convince me that there was no mfg warranty and I needed an extended warranty which implies that there is one to extend...double talk. suddenly shipping went from $60 to $160. Ridiculous outfit!

"BEWARE! They are bunch of crooks that run a multitude of related and ever-changing on-line stores based in Brooklyn NY. Their "too good to be true" prices also attracted my attention. However, I did my homework before ordering:

My advice: call them BEFORE placing any order and you will find out exactly what I did: if it's too good to be true, it probably is."
"I have placed an order for a Canon Digital Rebel for a price which looked too good to be true.
I received an email confirming my order within an hour. A day later I received another email to call in for "confirmation", which I did, but I was ready to resist any sale pressure. I was told to ask for "David" and David told me that the camera is in stock, but it comes with only one battery, and I need a memory card, etc etc. when declined all his offers, he told me that the camera was not in stock and it will take 2-3 weeks to get it. I told him I will wait.
A week later I called to check on the status and again I was told it will be 2-3 weeks, and at that point I asked him to cancel my order, which he did, and I received an email to that effect.
By coincidence, my credit card was ripped off and someone racked up a few thousands of dollars before the credit card company blocked the card. I do not have any proof that infinity cameras was behind it...
I did some research on the outfit and Infinity camera, VIP camera, Best Price camera, and Mr. Accessory, are all by the same owner, Joey Saideh, 1938 McDonald Av Brooklyn, NY. ****@**** ***-***-****

"On 19 November 2004 I came across InfinityCamera.com site and looks like they had some great deals, the site said to call for the best price, so I called ***-***-**** and talked to Kevin, I told him I wanted to purchase the Nikon D70 Holiday Package #5, he proceeded to sell me items that were already included in the D70 package, such as the charger, battery and strap, he charged me $200 for the charger, $100 for the battery and $30 for the strap, then he said I need two lense hoods, so he sold me two for $50 each and 2 sets of high resolution filter kits, $150 each and I also ordered a faster memory card for $150. I received the shipment on the 24th of November, I soon realized I didnt need the lense hoods because professional quality ones were included with the lenses, the lense hoods I paid $50 for were $2 Tiawan specials, and they forgot to send one of them. the high resolution filter kits were also very poor quality Tiawan specials, and only one set fit, they sent the wrong size for one set, the set they sent were delaminated(peeling)they also did not send the original flash card, and I paid $100 for a 5 year warranty put they didnt send any warranty either. I emailed them with my discrepencies, no reply, waited 3 days, emailed them again, no reply, called them, talked to Kevin, this was a different Kevin that sold me the stuff, this Kevin was the manager, he was very rude and agumenatative, he claimed all the extra items I purchased fell under the package deal so he would only give me a $100 refund for the $300 filter sets, and he would only give me $40 refund for the $100 worth of lense hoods and he claimed he didnt owe me a memory card, and he would not refund my warranty, he claimed it was in the mail. This is the most corrupt organization I have ever dealt with, I have filed a complaint with the New York Better Business Bureau, http://www.newyork.bbb.org I think everyone that has a problem with this crooked organization should file a complaint with the BBB, So far I have convinced two friends to cancel there orders with InfinityCamera.com, this is a Bad Company..."
"I guess all of you have never been to Hong Kong. I don't understand why are there so many stupid people in this world. This is a classic Hong Kong style marketing scam. A hongkie tonkie copycat! You think youre too smart ha... infiniti. "
"Ripped me off. Had to contest charge on my credit card. Bought Sony Vaio K27 (PCGK27) PC Notebook on-line for $1659.99 on 7/28/04 and wanted to get it shipped to me by 7/30/04 so I paid for shipping instead of free shipping. I paid $119.60 extra for grand total of $1779.59. Some dude calls me later that day to verify my credit card info. They call me the next day around noonish, woman couldn't verify my billing addy because I had different billing and mailing addy. So I had to do their job for them, call my bank's cc number & get instructions to tell them how to call my bank which they had called but were incompetant to get the info. I also said that I wanted the laptop by Friday & that that is what I had ordered. She promised I would have it then. End of day like 4:30pm-5pm some dude calls me on the phone, said that the battery only lasts 45mins but could get me a battery that lasts 8hrs for $199 or something like that so I went ahead & said OK. Then said about a case & that I could get a shock proof case. (I had been looking for aluminum case so I go cool). It was like $89 or $99 bucks they said. Then says about a 4yr extended warranty. And a cheap price of like $299. So I go OK. Then says about a euro conversion kit. I said not interested but he said he would throw it in because I got the warranty. Got Laptop 7/30/04 but it only comes w/ standard battery with the laptop & it lasts way longer than 45 minutes. There doesn't exist a 8hr battery. I only got a 3Yr. Extended Warranty (not 4) and I get some cheesy leather case. No euro conversion kit. My bill listed some Deluxe Package Deal for $2109.98 (NonTaxable Subtotal) plus they charged me $150.00 for shipping & to top it off added I guess some tax thing in that Total was 2259.98. I get back to them on the 30th by e-mail yet they didn't contact me. I immediately contested the charge on my credit card. I ended up sending back the case and warranty. Still not resolved. They are trying to swindle me still to keep from refunding my $480.39. I'm thinking of sending them the laptop back certified & telling them on the phone that I did & that they better refund the full $2259.98 or they will be in trouble for grand theft."
"Do not order from them. Advertised low price, then said I needed to upgrade to get a battery and charger, and to add a long-life battery. Camera came--didn't work, would add l0% to price to return, except never answered phone to get return number to send it. Warranty slip was 90 days, not the year promised. Battery upgrade was a scam. Battery was a standard and I paid another $50 for a long life. From $304 originally, the package came to $550, all for a camera that did not work at all, had a 3-month warranty, had the wrong battery, and a company that did not answer their service line to give me a return number. Scam City. The salesman was also not knowledgeable at all and sounded suspicious. Should have followed by instinct and never ordered from them."
