"Insect Lore was great. They had very good communication via email. They were careful that the "live bugs" were not sent at a time when they would not be successfully delivered and put a delay on sending them. However, the delay was minimal and they sent an email when the weather cooled so we knew they were on route. The caterpillars arrived and are munching away to become butterflies. Very exciting!"

"We were expecting caterpillar eggs, & were somewhat surprised when 4 very large caterpillars (1 was dead on arrival) came in the mail. They had already begun to spin silk, and the very next day turned into chrysalis'. The directions said to pin the paper to the side, but they had chewed through the top paper, so we layed the cover inside the netted house. We were never clear on where/how we were supposed to do that. Consequently, 1 butterfly hatched with a ruffled wing and could not fly because it's wing got stuck under the plastic lid while trying to hatch. The other 3 survived and we enjoyed watching them. They did mate and we are hoping to start the cycle over! This was an extremely neat project to do with my daughter (age 6). Great way to talk about the circle of life. I definitely recommend this product to anyone."
