"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They will sell you broken phones and give you the worst service, and prepare to wait 8-24hrs for a supervisor to contact you! They gave me complete hell...I am currently still dealing with them, waiting for my refund. If my full refund is not issued legal matters will definitely me in process. Please customers don't buy anything from here. This place sucks! "
"Inphonic is now Simplexity. They are the same people and it is suggested you stay away and buy your cell phone from someone else."
"NEVER buy anything from this store. They are cheating customers. I purchased two cell phones with plan from this store at the end of 2005. There were $450 rebates. I submited the materials required in time. By the term, I should get the money no later in June. Till now the status of rebates is still processing."
"Fraud!
This company is fleecing the customers. Beware before you are lured into false promises- I, like several other buyers, have been scammed. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY."
"Bought phone from them in Oct 05 (Mot V188). Sent in the rebates in Jan 06. Rebates show up in the system Feb 06 as valid, but the checks ain't here yet!!! It's mid July. Everytime I contact them, there is an automated email. Now even the automated emails stopped! This sucks. This almost seems fraudulent to me. Would never recommend buying from them. Maybe enough people should come together and sue them. My rebates were for $225."
"I received the 2 razr phones and expected to get a rebate for both phones, unfortunately, I was 7 days late getting the rebate out, the timeframe is 180-210 days which is a good trick for the rebate process. So what happens is there is really no rebate at all. I went thru a long process before the final word of the lateness on the rebate, and was sent from one person to the other and they could never get it straight. I will never do business with this rebate (InPhonics) again, nor will I ever do business with intellinet again. I really don't think the phones are new, I think they are rebuilt. This company should be sued for false advertising (about the rebates). I am a very dissatisfied customer."
"This company is trying to get away with rebate fraud. I sent in all paper work that was required, and still have not recieved my rebates 5 months later. There is no way to contact them, as they do not list any phone #, and do not return emails. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM INTELENET WIRELESS!!!!!"
"I ordered a Motorola V180 Phone from this company and signed up for a T-mobile plan. The phone came within a few days and I had no problems so far. However there were two $100.00 rebates (customer loyalty rebate and customer appreciation rebate) promised with this phone. I submitted all the forms etc. in November last year, but did not receive any of the rebates so far! I could track one of the rebates online and it said that a check was sent in January, but I never received a check from them. After calling the customer service they said they will send a new check for one of the rebates. However they said there is no record for the second rebate and therefore they cannot do anything since the deadline is already over. They just said the rebate was probably lost in the mail and it is not their responsibility. However I send both rebates to the same address at the same time, it seems unlikely that it get lost in the mail unless their policy is to simply loose a certain amount of their own mail...
Also when the customer service representative asked me where I send the rebates she said it was the wrong address! But I send it the address that was on the rebate form and one of the rebates showed up in their system, so the address could not have been wrong.
If you want to buy from this company expect that you won't get all the rebates! If you take the risk always use certified mail when sending rebates.
There is only one explanation for this reoccurring pattern: This company is either incredibly stupid when handling rebates or they actively “loose” some of the forms they receive. I suspect the later.
"
"I have never dealt with a more unscrupulous company! They use every tactic in the book to not send your promised rebates. I have contacted Verizon, and I hope after reading the reviews will not do business with Intellenet any more. I hope hurting them in their pocketbook will prove to them that they need to treat their customers right. Is there anyone out there that has begun a class action lawsuit against this company? If so, add me to the list. I have all of the frustrating documentation from the beginning of this fiasco!!"
"I purchased phones from them in July,2005. So I sent in the rebate forms about three weeks ago. The rebate forms were those that came with the package in July 2005. Guess what ?? They changed the address of the rebate processing center. So my rebate forms have been sent to an old address. Since the new processing center will never get the rebate forms, they've rejected my rebates. Resubmission is too late. So I'm screwed. $450 rebates are down the drain. What have I done wrong ? I used the same rebate forms they included in the package. WTF !!"
"They found a way not to pay me the rebate of $150. Fraud!Fraud!Fraud!Fraud!
Never trust them again"
"4 $200 rebates were promised only 2 were processed they lost or destroyed the other 2. They now refuse to process the other 2.Keep geting sent to a n email with a full box! They refuse to help !!!!!!!!"
"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
This is a total sham. After a year I have not recieved my rebate. The phone I purchased was listed as "Free". Of course this meant I had to pay full price with a rebate to come at a later date. When filing for my rebate I was very meticulous in making sure all information was correct. I turned in my rebate returned it in a timely fashion. Despite all of this I still have not recieved anything.
I have called the customer suport phone line at least a dozen times to no avail. They just told me that there is nothing else they can do for me so after a year of waiting I am basically screwed. Avoid this company like the plague!!!"
"I was promised a $100.00 rebate form from this company for a T-Mobile rebate. They sent me a $50.00 rebate form. I tried and tried to get this straightened out with their customer service, which is the problem. I rate Intellenet's customer service as "NO CUSTOMER SERVICE". I give it an "F", a big fat "ZERO" or whatever else a person can come up with for getting "NO" help. While trying to get this mess right, I missed the deadline on the rebate, which I found out from T-Mobile was for $50.00, not $100.00 as Intellinet had said in its advertisement online which is FRAUD."
"Intelenet.com, Wirefly.com, Whereismyorder.com and other pseudonyms and DBAs used by this group of companies are a mask for reseller scams. They resell cell phones and cellular plans from Sprint, T-Mobile, Cingular, Verizon and others offering deals you can't seem to get from the original company. Fantastic rebates, great plans. Too good to be true, yes, but a nightmare following the awakening of that fact. Four weeks went by and still no phones!
Avoid these people--you will get nothing or worse: you'll wind up paying a fortune when you could have gotten a better deal directly from the service provider, be it Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, etc."
