"Ordered insulation for a 78C10, they sent wrong pattern (hole pattern does not match 78-79 c10). the said "we only have one pattern", which is obviously not for the truck I specified. Then they refused to refund my initial freight charge...for the wrong item they shipped! I have asked several times for the refund but they do not even acknowledge me. If you order from them, you run the risk of
1) receiving the wrong item
2) not getting your money back
My advice is to go elsewhere such as Amazon with free freight...and full refunds"

"They stated that a product is “in stock “, i placed an order on the part. Was charged hundreds of dollars. Several days past and no tracking or shipping information was supplied. When I contacted them to ask, i was told that the part was out of stock. I was then told that it was on backorder and was due in around 8-10 weeks and was asked to wait it out. Since i was in no hurry, i agreed. 12-13 weeks passed and still no part. When I contacted them, was now told that they had no eta. I then asked for a refund but was told that they couldn’t refund my credit card. They told me to take it up with my cc company and dispute the charge. I attempted to do so, but was unsuccessful bc too much time had past. Jegs knowingly does this, scamming people out of money. So its now been 6 months. The company has gone to trash. You need performance parts, use Summit racing where they actually treat their customers right."
"CLEARLY false advertising going on. I am (or have been) a very loyal Jegs customer that regularly works on multiple projects in my small business. Recently I noticed a price for a part at Summit Racing was $20.50 cheaper and inquired about Jegs Price Matching after thoroughly reading their policy. "Oh yes we can match that price they said"..... and took my money for the lower Summit Price. After getting an email saying "Thank you from ordering for Jegs" I received a call saying they couldn't match the price because the price was below their cost. REALLY? $20.50 is all they make on a several hundred dollar part? The following day I wasted some time forwarding the pics of Summit Racings lower price and the Jegs Price Matching guarantee. Same answer they will not honor their policy. Very disappointed."

"Yea these people took 400.00 from me and scammed me out of a intellitronix digital instrument cluster. My package said it was delivered however I did not receive it. Called them the next day and they said they would start a trace on the package. I called every other day for a month and a half. They finally said that FedEx did lose my package and that the item was on back order. Finally received it after I purchased one online from Craigslist. "I bought an oil filter cutting tool about 4 years ago. It never worked well but I did not contact Jegs. Recently, I noticed that the cutting wheel is chipped so I contacted them to buy a replacement wheel. They told me they do not have one available, EVEN THOUGH THE SAME TOOL IS STILL LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE. I suggested that they should be able to supply replacement (normal wear item) parts for their tools but they refused to do anything for me.

"I spoke with some of there sales technicians a few times before buying Lots of parts.. The. Sales technician technicians. Which i spoke with were very knowledgeable in every aspect.. Im rebuilding a gen 1 sbc 406 in a 1982 Camaro.. Going thru a few different phases on my build... 1.2.3. Phases. Not to any fault of. Jegs. Fed ex messed up a delivery.. and. The Customer service got RITE on it...

Order #1 - They charged me the wrong sales tax - more than double what it should be. It is super easy to verify someone's correct tax; all you need is their address. This is the only business I know of that can't get it right. After two phone calls trying to take care of it, in which both individuals told me they couldn't fix it but knew who could, nothing has happened, and it's been more than a week.
Order #2 - I ordered a Jegs-brand automatic transmission on November 29th. The order confirmation said the estimated ship date was January 1st. With two days to go (December 29th), they send me a new estimated ship date - April 5th! The 3 people I spoke to about it weren't rude, but neither were they helpful; nobody could explain how in the space of one month the delivery date slipped four months, or why they didn't tell me sooner. Nor did they do anything at all to make it right; "sorry" is all I got. Sorry, indeed.
I've done business with their competitor, Summit Racing, for over 30 years, and Summit on their worst day is better than Jegs, based on my two experiences. There won't be a third."
