"Two months and the ribbon is not shipped. Then they say it will take 21 days to cancel the order. This company is sham, they take your money through paypal and never ship the product. Will never buy anything though them again."
"If I could pick 0 stars, I would!. The customer service for this company was terrible. I ordered my ribbons on April 5th and waited the 3 weeks before contacting them. Long story short, after several contacts and their several promises of product delivery by a certain date, I cancelled my order and had to purchase from a local craft store in order to have decorations finished on time for the event. When I cancelled the order (early Aug.), they tried to get me to wait another 3 weeks (the party was in 10 days by that time). I have not yet seen my refund and it's been two months since I cancelled. The whole process has been ridiculous and I can't say it's over yet. They've promised the refund within the next 14 days, but I'll only believe it when I see it!"
"My credit card was immediately charged for a $112.66 order. I received an email confirming my order and stating all orders take 4 weeks to reach them and an additional 5 days to reach customer as they stock no products. Next day I received a PayPal Money Request for the same amount saying they voided my credit card order and now only accept PayPal. No where on their website does it state they use PayPal nor was my credit card voided. Policy on website states most orders are shipped within 7-10 days, except for custom items. My order was not custom, they were stock items. It also states all sales are final. However, I sent them an email canceling and cancelled their PayPal request as well. Please read their goofy sales policy page. I am filing a report with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, and of course, my credit card company. They need to be put out of business as they are running a fraudulent operation. Lesson learned. I will thoroughly look at a company before I order. "

"This company has very poor service and the terms of their payment/cancellation policy are archaic, at best. Though technically not illegal (debatable in some states), they immediately charge your credit card for an order that may not be shipped for 1-3 weeks, and then delivered in another week (This is what is posted, though my order was delivered in 4+ weeks). They do not accept cancellations on orders, citing their niche market with large selection but low minimum quantity. I only ordered from this company because our school had been using them previously for an event that I was chairing. Upon searching (unfortunately after I ordered), I found many other companies that had better business practices in terms of ordering, canceling and payment, as well as selection and access to customer service; in other words, companies that actually have 21st Century business practices. When I attempted to contact the company because my credit card had been charged but I had not received an email notification of order confirmation, I called this business by telephone, I reached a recording stating that they do not accept messages and any issues must be resolved via email. When I emailed, several times, to address my many issues with my order, it was usually 1 to 2 and sometimes 3 business days before I heard back from them, typically with an automated response that did not address my issues with the order. I threatened to launch an investigation with my credit card company if they did not provide a confirmation of delivery and/or deliver on time for my event and I even made a back up order to another company. If I had the ability, I would have cancelled the order. The company I made the back up order with was significantly less expensive (by almost 50%) and had a quick delivery date. I will never do business with this company again and encourage others not to waste their time and money, as well."
"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. On 2/27/13 I ordered ribbons. I then got an email telling me it would be 3 weeks, this is a long time considering they charged my credit card in Feb. After 4 weeks I contacted them and then received another email stating it was back ordered and would take 2-3 weeks more. After 2 1/2 weeks I emailed AGAIN and was now told it can take until the end of April. I have no faith that will happen.
The emails I have received from "customer service", never state a persons name. In my 30 years of dealing with customer service at all kinds of companies, I have found that when you can not get a name from someone in customer service they generally have BAD customer relations.
I would NEVER use this company!!!! I now have to go through my credit card to get my money back. If you can not complete a job, at the very least you should not charge the persons credit card until you can."
"The JKM "blog" "Announces New Management" on 7/19/12. They acknowledge that JKM has "previously faced difficulty regarding shipment timeframes", but that "New Management" will focus on improving this issue.
What they fail to mention is that this "New Management", Carmela Anne Fusco, is in fact the wife of the previous management...using her maiden name. It's still run by the same family who has given such awesome customer service in the past.
How do I know this? Because I know someone who used to work there. Every word of these other reviews is the absolute truth. "
"I put a 'test' order in at the mid-August; it is now mid-January and no sign of the order. I was originally given a lead time of 5 weeks and have since been told to be patient. I contacted them numerous times after the order was supposed to have arrived, and have received emails back with different excuses each time, and a refusal to refund my money. "On Aug. 7 I placed an order for $117 worth of ribbon, and my credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY. THREE MONTHS later I sent an email (you cannot reach this company by phone) requesting a refund since I no longer needed the product after such a long time. My request was DENIED (via email), and they said "We do not want to argue with you." Then ANOTHER MONTH went by.... Please do not let JKM Ribbon take your money!!!!!!!!"
"I purchased $100 of elastic trim here. They took over three months to ship it. I wrote, called, begged. As, this was for my Art students, and the materials were for special projects to donate to Phoenix Children's Hospital. I was talked down to, called stupid, and that I don't know how to read email. The absolute WORST customer service ever. Ran by arrogant, rude, people. I can not believe they are still in business. Trust me, it is not worth whatever money you would save. I learned the hard way! I will never shop here again, and will happily pay the difference in price to actually get my product in a timely fashion. Just finished placing $100 order at Consumer Crafts. Will review, high hopes!"
"I don't know if they're under new management or what. In 2011 I ordered from them with no problems. On March 1st 2012 I placed an order; heard nothing for several weeks; multiple emails were answered with a brush-off. Meanwhile I had customers waiting on orders and had to spend 2x as much to replace the trims I'd already ordered. Finally I *did* receive my items, five months later, and one of the spools of ribbon I ordered was a) the wrong width, b) not the name brand I'd asked for--it was substantially weaker and floppier; and c) instead of one continuous length it was all chopped up into 2-yard bits! Never again."
"I ordered 5 spools of ribbon on July 3, 2012. JKM charged my credit card. It is now Speteber 12, 2012 and they have yet to send the $115.00 ribbon to me.

For those not in the know, this is exactly what the State Attorney General is supposed to do, Protect the consumer! When I complained to customer service they cancelled my order and couldn't accept the coupon I had used due to "economic circumstances" and then said I couldn't get a refund but a "store credit". I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."
