I chose a suit in Jos a bank in Scarsdale New York and thought the fabric was pretty good quality. I had gained weight recently and didn't think the alteration services would do a good job. The tailor took measurements and I left the suit to be altered. Earlier in life I was really concerned with my clothing, so I was pretty critical generally. When I went to pick up the suit, I tried it on and....POW! I was truly astounded! This suit looked like a really high end suit. The tailoring was impeccable! I was transformed. I never expected a job so well done. Try it, you'll see. I won't go anywhere else in the future. WOW! No need to keep repeating myself. But I will...WOW!!"
"I purchased two NEW belts. Received them in mail, one new, one severely used. Looked like someone had been wearing it a year or more, looked like the one I was throwing out....Showed the marks by the belt holes of the person who was wearing it, leather worn, v shaped by the part of the belt by the back belt loop. It was the wrong style belt yet the white cardboard with the correct style number was detached and in the bag. Called for a replacement, told I would get one, they never sent it. Called customer service again and was put on hold for 20 minutes, finally hung up, called back, new customer service person told me my first complaint was never completed. So now we will see if a replacement belt is finally sent. I would suggest you buy nothing from this company unless you can see it before you buy it."
"Had an issue 12/3 regarding a Fedex delivery. Needed a waiver from Jos. A Bank so I could be paid for the damaged sweater that were fedex's fault. In corporate I went from Dallas, to Alice , to Henry, to Marvin. The same excuse was we are partnering with management to resolve the claim. It was Fedex's fault but I need a waiver from Jos. A Bank.. It is now 12.21 and still no resolution or management call back?"

"I like the quality of Jos A. Bank dress shirts. Each time I speak to someone about it, I do feel I need to add that I once went to a store and was made to feel by staff that I did not below. I was told that the company focused on doctor and lawyer types, which I interpreted as 'not me'. I was dressed very casually that day, but ironically I am a doctor. Maybe not the MD type, but the PhD type, and I have commanded a 6 figure salary for 15 consecutive years. I also currently hold the title of Vice President for my organization. My wife also earns such a salary. At the time of this incident I was earning such an income. I would think that the amount of expendable income we have would be one that you want to purchase more at your store, and also speak positively about your company. The culture of your site-based organization, at least at that time, left a mark that still reigns with me.Otherwise, it seems to be a long time to wait for a shirt to be delivered."
