I've had a 'Cyclone' (#1630) with a plain blade for quite some time. But, on the kershaw-knives.net / Two Point website, I discovered the 'brother' to it, having a black blade & half-serrated.

Ordering was as simple as it could be, even with having my name laser etched on it. This piece is what a knife should be!

Very good 'feel', not some little 'light-weight'! And, with the 'assisted opening' via the thumb or, what I'll call the blade hilt, this 'puppy' is available to tackle any job at a moments notice.

"I have an old Kershaw pocketknife that I've been carrying around for a long time. I wore the handle out on the previous one, sent it back and got a new knife to replace the first one, no questions asked. The pocketknife I have now is in about the same condition as the last one but I don't want to send it in - I've grown attached to it. Recently, I was talking to a co-worker here in Afghanistan about how satisfied I was with Kershaw and he pulled his Blur out of his pocket - like a blur, actually. I felt the heft of the knife and liked the speed with which it opens. A few days later, I was able to see my son, also here in Afghanistan, and at that time, I gave him a old spring load that I was carrying (different manufacturer) and then decided he and I both needed better knives.
