"I bought a laptop battery in Feb. By June it was dead. I have been trying for a month to get it warrantied, and they have only responded to my e-mails twice ( out of 12 sent). I finally got someone on the phone who was very short and rude, and basically said it was my fault for not following their procedure. The problem is, they never sent me a "procedure" to follow. They refuse to take phone calls, and will only deal by e-mail. The problem is, they don't respond to their e-mails. The guy hung up on me. Don't do business with this company!!!"
"Again, keybattery tries to come back and screw me. I had issues with this lousy company and my credit card company reversed the charges a couple of months ago. I thought I was done with the filth that ran keybattery but I was wrong. Jason, the scum of the earth, charged my credit card again, and this constitutes fraud. I had to cancel my credit card and file a complaint against these maggots. RUN - Don't walk from keybattery. This guy, Jason, would probably steal from his own mother. He is a 100% dirt bag who needs to wind up in prison."
"DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS STORE...
I HAVE ORDERED TWO BATTERIES WORTH 182 USD. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY. ONE WEEK LATER, THEY E-MAILED ME THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE GOODS AND MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED. BUT THEY DID NOT GIVE MY MONEY BACK. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES BUT NO ONE ANSWERED. THEY SIMPLY IGNORED MY E MAILS AS WELL. AS A RESULT, I HAVE LOST 182 USD AND REPORTED INTERNET FRAUD TO RELATED CONSUMER AGENCIES."
"DO NOT SHOP AT KEYBATTERY, this site is a fraud,, it is a one man show, just call and try to talk to a live person,, it wont happen,, they took, my credit card number and never sent any product, call your credit company if you have ever shopped here."
"Very poor service... Battery is supposed to have 3 year warranty. After less then 3 months, it would only last about 15-20 minutes. After repeated attempts via email and phone, no one (in 2 months) has contacted us.

"Very poor customer relations and service. I purchased a camera battery that was misrepresented as a Sony battery but was a cheap imitation. To make matters worse, it didn't even work. After numerous unanswered emails and phone calls, I had my credit card company reverse the charges. This finally caught their attention and they responded with angry emails and "Jason" threatened to "make an example" of me and ruin my credit history. All the while, I would have been satisfied with a replacement battery that worked but they simply refused to grant the required return authorization or honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Unbelievably poor customer service! "
"The date above is approximate but the order / confirmation number is correct. When I informed the sales person at KEY BATTERY (Scott) that the SECOND battery charger they sent me still didn't work, he told me there was no way two of them could be bad and that I must be doing something wrong. I got both the battery and charger from them and the charger wouldn't work. I finally found my old charger and charged the new battery. It was fine. During my recent investigation of the problem, I discovered that the charger, although it was supposedly made for my battery, was assembled incorrectly and the negative contact was installed in the wrong opening from which it could not make connection with the battery's negative contact. I have since disassembled the charger and moved the electrical contact to the proper opening (the charger body was built to accomodate a contact at either opening. After doing so, the charger works fine. Since I got two chargers with the same symptom and probably the same problem, I'll bet they have since found that I'm not the only one with this same difficulty and that the problem was NOT my inability to put a battery on a charger correctly but rather, a faulty product. They have never contacted me to set things right. I would caution anyone dealing with KEY BATTERY to beware. Their claim of "100% satisfaction guaranteed" isn't true. In my opinion they aren't interested in cutomer satisfaction."
"ordered a laptop battery for my 600M at $56 with free shipping last Friday. And the battery was delivery at my home this afternoon. It works after installed! Highly recommend and will come back later!"
"Straight forward deal, no problems, good price. Arrived earlier than I expected even though Christmas Holidays."
"I too was cheated by Keybattery.com. :( I ordered a NP-FC11 battery and charger and the total cost was $122.98 (includes shipping of $66.25, usually for 1Kg, shipment in a usual store has not go beyond $30!).
At the end of the day, I received ONLY THE BATTERY, which is worth $15 (but they charged me $26.74) and CHARGER WAS MISSING!
When I contacted Keybattery.com, they said "re-shipped" and it never reached, at the same time I ordered some other electronics from another store and they reached without any trouble.
Since the charger never reached, I asked keybattery.com what was going on, they refunded my only half of the charger price saying it has been some time since the transaction and full amount or shipping charges cannot be refunded.
I advice to everyone NOT TO SHOP with Keybattery.com and I will be in, if any help needed in a Legal case.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ONLINE STORE. I purchased something on July 27 and my credit card was charged. 6 e-mails, 3 phone calls, and 2 months later, I still haven't received the camera charger and have yet to receive any response from them. I am now pursuing legal action. I buy online all the time and I have never experienced this trouble before... Do NOT buy from Tech Point or KeyBattery.com!"
"I had an identical experience as "ScrewKeyBattery" had. I ordered 2 np-fs11 batteries for my Sony digital camera and neither would work with my camera. When I contacted Key Battery (Tech Point llc) they responded that it was impossible that two batteries would be defective...regardless they didn't work with my camera. Which works fine with the OEM Sony battery. After that they didn't return any of my emails requesting a return and always got an answering machine when calling...Very frustrating. Finally, I got someone on the phone (Scott) who "Okay'd" the return...which I had to pay the shipping on...Not much of a 100% satisfaction guarantee (see their website)! Luckily I paid for tracking on the package as I'm still in the process of trying to get a refund (two months after they recieved the return). They have good prices on their product, but they get a Zero on customer service. I would never make the mistake of ordering from them again. You get what you pay for."
"Ordered May 1 received May 4th. Cheapest
ground shipping. Sony camcorder powered right up. So long as this item can get 5+ hours I'll be happy. Ad says it'll go 360 minutes, but I'd be suprised if it went that long. Time will truly tell. Z"
"Exellent value and excellent service. The product arrived two days before I expected it. The guy on the phone was very helpful and the np-fm50 battery that I ordered last about 20 minutes longer than my Sony ever did."
"Key Battery sold me a non original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement battery to replace a Sony NP-FS11 battry for a digital camera. With the replacement battery, my camera could not read the battery charge level and would not take more than 3 pictures without shutting down. I called Key Battery also known as Tech Point, and they told me to just keep running the battery in my camera, that it would just take using it a few more cycles to make it work. I kept trying to use the battery running the charge down and recharging and trying it in the camera again. The camera never was able to read the charge level, so I called Key Battery back. They then told me that my camera must be broken, that it was impossible for their battery to make this happen to my camera, and suggested that I sell my camera on eBay. They suggested saying in the auction that the camera was "untested" so that I would get more money for it this way. Very disreputable. I then purchased a Sony NP-FS11 OEM battery and found my camera worked perfectly; there was nothing wrong with it.
I emailed the company to ask for my money back plus shipping both ways. I told them that I refused to be a victim of false advertising. The sales associate wrote back to say that they were going to sue me for slander, called me a moron and said that I was full of crap. They lterally used those words in an email to me. I am of course insulted. I want to warn anyone wanting to use this company what kind of products they sell, and how you will be treated when they don't work. I bought this battery through Amazon.com and fully intend to let them know of my experience also. The Key Battery that I refer to was: 32 Via Cancion, San Clamente, CA 92673. The sales person that emailed me was Jason
