"Purchased some items and was informed via email afterwards that the parts were special-order and once I give them the go-ahead, there is no return/refund for the items. This was not a problem and I agreed. When the items were ready to ship, I was told that shipment was being held pending payment for additional shipping costs - up from the estimated shipping cost of approximately $30.00 when I ordered the parts to approximately $110.00! The order couldn't be canceled at this point. I contacted the seller and was informed that the email I received requesting additional money was an error. However, weeks passed and the order was still in the "label created, not received by Fedex for shipping" (or something of the sort) stage. The shipment was being held. Contacted the seller multiple times and they indicated that they would check into it and notify me via email. I never received any email messages although I finally received the order after numerous phone calls and a very long wait."
"I place the order on this site for my Kia Sportage. I had to call to find out what the status was after what was a very long time waiting on the phone they said that they would follow back with me by email, which was after making me wait on hold at least 10 minutes. It turns out every part I ordered they had to order from somewhere else. And after the long hold the email they sent me was to tell me that they needed me to pay more money. I have never been in a situation where I have made a purchase and then after the fact the cellar needs more money to complete the order after making me wait for it in the first place. They carry hard to find parts, but if you can find the parts elsewhere I would recommend trying that. After that experience I had I would have expected them to cover the difference in cost but no they were chicken and sent me an email. They could have told me over the phone but they wouldn't. Very bad business practices."
