"Well i wished I would have seen the other peoples reviews but I ordered something that they showed was in stock so I quickly ordered it and I waited about a week or two before I looked at what I purchased and it said it was on back order. I also ordered something from another company and they responded back within 15 minutes and was able to sort something out,but from Kirin Hobby this place is a joke I tried calling them everyday for a month and email for a month and nothing back and Im not even sure why they even have email or numbers and if you get a damged goods how would you get a refund in 14 days if they dont ever answer I mean I dont get it how this company is still up and running. I tried going to my bank about it and they said they couldnt do anything about it because I gave them the number to purchase it,so I went to another bank. So what does this company do when they are open from 2-6? **** seems like what they are doing this company needs to be shut down but its also a sad thing when the BBB cant even get a hold of them. "I have ordered one item from them in the past. They were terrible at communication when I asked for an update, but I eventually got my figurine a month after it was promised. It was genuine and in perfect condition so I decided the stress had been worth it. I decided to try again because they had a figurine I really wanted at a great price.
I pre-ordered an item on March 2017 for release this January. I expected to wait, but now that January has come and gone, it hasn't been shipped or even updates. I've emailed them three times and gotten nothing but automated emails in response. Oh and the figurine now has a February release date, so they've started pushing dates back. Since they've blown me off with automated emails and given no updates (hey, we got figurines in stock and are working on getting them out, please be patient!), I feel that I've been scammed.
If I don't get my figurine, I'm asking for a refund and taking my business elsewhere. Any company that can't be bothered to talk to their customers and assure them that their business matters is not worth the time or effort. "

"Kirin Hobby is a den of thieves. I ordered a Gurren Lagann figure in late November of 2017 and paid extra for priority shipping. I knew that it was a toss up as to whether I would be able to receive it by Christmas as a present, but I never considered having to report them to my bank for theft. When January cam around, I requested that the order be cancelled and a refund given. The holidays had passed and I ended up finding something different to replace the missing gift. I emailed them multiple times with no response. I called them multiple times with no response. My emails and voicemails became gradually more frustrated until I finally told them (in mid February) that if I was not contacted by the end of the week, I would be reporting them. I have now reported them to my bank and will be warning others away from this business."
"I bought a "pre-order" item with kirin hobby in oct 2017. It said it would be released in december of 2017. My credit card was charged at the time of purchase. It is now mid february of 2018 and I still haven't received my item. I have tried calling them for weeks but no one answers their phone. I have left message after message but no return calls. I also tried emailing them a number of times but still no reply. Reading online reviews, I now realize this is the "norm" when dealing with this store. I will now have to dispute this charge with my credit card company and try to get my money back. I cant believe this store is still able to operate after the hundreds of bad complaints against them. Never again will i deal with them."

"I pre-ordered two items from this site (which totaled over 400 dollars). I pre-ordered them in April and May and they both were originally slated to be released in July. It's almost February of next year and I still haven't even got an e-mail that they would be late. They randomly updated the items on the site a few months ago changing the release dates to November and December 2017 for the items without sending me any notification. The items still say they are scheduled to be released in November/December 2017. I've tried calling them multiple times and e-mailing them multiple times and I haven't had any response. I've never once went out of my way to write a bad review for anyone online before, but this company is just that terrible. I understand things happen, and delays occur, but they have never once contacted me other than to say that they received my payment. Please don't throw your money away using this site just go to AmiAmi or somewhere else that's much more reputable. "
