No order or update after 2 weeks - go buy from Wayfair instead

"I placed an online order on 1/11/2020 with an expected ship date of 01/15/2020. The FedEx tracking number provided just says "pending" and has not been updated since 11/12/2020. I've called Kirkland's, sent follow-up emails, and have chatted with an online rep to have them all tell me there is no update on my order. The latest explanation for not receiving my order is that FedEx is now holding the packages for up to 3 weeks and if I do not receive an update by 3 weeks then they can issue a refund. When I spoke to a Kirklands customer service rep last week they told me that FedEx was holding packages for 15 days and if I don't hear back within 15 days then the order could be cancelled. It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. I don't even want my order anymore as I doubt I'm ever going to receive it. I just want to cancel the order and never have to deal with this awful company ever again."

Bad Customer service

"I ordered the wrong item on line so I wanted to cancel the next day. They said they cannot cancel orders unless it’s within 30 min of purchase !! Gimick !!!!
This policy is terrible and they get people ! Now I need to return an item that hasn’t even left their warehouse !!! There is no store near me and I have to catch FedEx to refuse shipment . Why can’t they take care of that for the customer. They are terrible ! Didn’t even try to help me at all ! Will never order from them again !!

Bad customer service

"Looked for a certain product that Kirkland sold and the only one I could find was an hour away, I called the store to be sure they had item in store and they said yes, one left, I asked if they would hold it. I explained I was an hour away and would be there as I was leaving immediately and was told yes. I arrive within one hour only to be told they sold it. I was not helped in any way as to look for another one at another store. Very rude response by woman behind counter. I went home emailed customer service only to be told we'll contact your shortly to take care of this event, I have not heard back from them since."

Issue Still Not Resolved Over A Month After Order

"I ordered two sets of different artwork on May 13th. Kirkland's sent two of the same set. I contacted them and emailed them photographs as requested. After several emails and telephone calls, Kirkland's has yet to send the correct artwork or refund my money. DO NOT ORDER FROM KIRKLAND'S! I am going to file a civil suit against them. I do not want to but I do not have a choice in this matter."

"Went to Kirkland's in brunswick ga it was a mess noisy never said welcome to store kept putting up stuff and taking things down never asked could they help me find something all were dressed tacky and just talking amongst themselves lost mad customers because they were not interested in helping people .. WILL

Damaged Delivery and will not reimburse

"This company is the absolute worst that I have EVER dealt with. I received my order totally damaged. Glass everywhere. Failed to refund or rectify the matter. Woman was nasty and obnoxious in customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am out of $40.00!!"

HORRIBLE Customer service

"Ordered a pair of lamps online, waited to receive in the mail only to realize two completely wrong lamps were sent. My mom whom lives in a different state ordered them for me as a gift - they expect me to physically take them back to the nearest kirklands store mind you i just had a baby - and once the lamps are scanned in for the return, the company will then send out (hopefully) the correct lamps. So they are withholding the process of correcting their mistake. They provided no remorse or any way to right their wrong as a company. Instead they point the finger at the customer and make you jump through hoops to correct their own mistake. Also, customer service supervisors hide behind their computers -they throw their own customer service reps to relay messages back to the customer even after asking to speak to the supervisor. Poor management= poor company values- Just horrible !!!! Right your wrong Kirklands !! I suggest you invest in some corporate customer service training !!! I will never buy anything from this awful place again !!! By the way i work customer service and have been over the last 20 yrs , I would NEVER treat a customer like this!"

Do NOT order online!!

"I ordered a console table which I loved and was anxious to get . The minute I placed my order my account was drafted for the purchase. Almost one MONTH later , still no table !! I called and asked for a refund . No apology, no table , and am hoping I get my refund . Very bad business !!! Will never order from here again !! So disappointed "

Frustrated

"This store has the worst customer service ; I purchased a table online and was told that I could go to the store and pick it up; what they didn’t tell me is the store didn’t have any in stock so we had to take the display which was already ensembles. My husband had to go to the house to get his drill to try to dissemble it , but the screw was too tight,we tried to tie it on top of the car but that didn’t work either, all of this time no one in the store offered any assistance but a stranger saw us struggling trying to tie the table on top of the Jeep "

Horrible customer service

"Your supervisor Jennifer called me a liar saying I did NOT cancel order but yes I did! She had different order and would NOT refund MY money after I cancelled the order because they were soooo behind around Labor Day. Can’t imagine the holidays and I don’t appreciate Jennifer talking over me. No wonder she had wrong order. Do not purchase from kirkland.com because customer service is horrible. Call the store and see if they have the item!!! "

Slowest shipping ever....

"I placed an order ten days ago and when I check the status it still shows it’s being processed. I emailed customer service and was told they would check with distribution and get back to me but no one did. I did a live chat with them this morning only to be told they have no way of knowing a shipping date without an update from distribution. My first time to order from them and definitely my last. Starting to wonder if I will receive what I paid for."

As others describe ZERO Customer Support SLOW Slipping!

"Have ordered twice now. First experience was fine, good product, good price and fast delivery. Placed second order on 09/07/19, still no shipping email, details say it is "Processing". So I did a Live Chat and asked where my order was, was given the scripted response, but I said it is taking so long, why? She was going to contact the Distribution Center and have them email me with an eta...still waiting for the message. In the world of Amazon Prime and 2 day free delivery, who would go through this again...NOT ME!"

Scam artists

"Placed an order on 09/01. As of 09/13 order still has not shipped and Customer Service could not give me a date. Said they were backed up due to Labor Day. This was the day they offered 30% discount and free shipping on everything. Get you to buy and then don't want to provide product at a discount."

Racial profiling

"Took place in the Lake Charles, La Kirklands employee Jamie not once but Twice has done so with me. She will circle you constantly mind you not asking if you need any help. She went so far as to grab dust Ian and lingered I noticed a group of 20 something year old white people running through store. This did not send a red flag to Jamie to go and assess that situation. She rated on my heels. My shopping experience unpleasant and did not complete. I had stopped going to this store several years ago for the same exact employee behavior. I since returned and sorry I did. The management here was disappointing and of no use /help. I plan to continue my journey making people like Jamie known, until people like her are no longer allowed to spew nasty hate and disgust in my city. Shame on her and kirklands for upholding this type of behavior and thinking it's ok"
