"On Dec 10 I went to Kirklands in Newport News to look at stocking hangers.The result is one falling out of box because it wasnt secured and fell and damaged my glasses. Matthew in claims only wants to give me 100.00 dollars to help replace my glasses because I didnt keep my receipt for glasses. This has been the worst experience I will never go in the store again and a warning to other shoppers be careful how you pick up merchandise to look at it"
"Firstly, I never received an order confirmation for my order and could only check it by going to my account on their site. The order says it will ship to home in 3-4 business days. Well on the 4th day it was still stuck in "processing" so I hit up the chat and all they kept repeating to me was that it can take up to 8 business days to ARRIVE at home. Okay fine. On the 5th business day I chatted them again because my order was still in a "processing" status and they said the same thing again that it can take up to 8 business days to arrive to home. Okay, my point now is that my status has not moved or changed once since I placed the order. Do you do overnight shipping or what? It is now 3 days for it to "arrive to home" and yet it is still processing. They will not respond to my emails. When I finally got back on chat, they told me there was a delay in the processing and was quite rude about it. Needless to say I still don't have my order and there is no response to my emails and this is the first and last time I ever order anything from Kirklands. "

"I have been a loyal customer, but Kirkland’s ship to store is ridiculously slow. Routinely, an order takes 2 weeks to even be shipped to the store, then another 2 weeks for me to be notified it has arrived. I am awaiting a holiday canvas print that I ordered weeks ago. Gosh, I hope it arrives before Christmas! SLOW! If this company wants to be competitive as an online retailer, it needs to step up its game in a major way.
Current order details: order placed on Nov 2. Email on Nov 7 that they were “working on” my order. Shipped to store on Nov 14. As of Nov 23, nothing still."
"I ordered a mirror which required a $20 additional shipping premium. Mirror was packaged horrible and shipped (FEDEX) dropped and broke corner. Fought with customer service to not have to ship back as packing was unusable and mirror extremely heavy to haul to FedEx. They finally agreed to send a new one without sending old back. New one came broken as well. Now they are telling me to get my money back I need to repackage it, haul it to FedEx and ship it back. This is ridiculous, none of this is my fault. They tell you they need to ask corporate to see if they can have FEDEX pick up. I am done with this company and will NEVER order from them again. "
"Bought lamp in store only had one. Needed 2. Ordered on line another one. Came with wrong shade and color. Ordered again wrong shade. Called customer service to inform and they say manufacturer may changed shade. Told me they would call me back never did. I ordered another lamp and again it came with the wrong shade. Now I’m stuck with a lamp because it’s been 30 days and they will not return your money after 30 days . I found the lampshade in the store on another lamp and they were refused to exchange it out. "I had ordered a long beautiful frame online and Fedex had to send it back because it was damaged. I had to wait again for them to send me a new one. And come to find out, it was damaged again. This time I saw the wrapping and the broken glass, 3 sides of my frame was cracked off. The way they packaged it was terrible. I will never order from them again. I’m sad because they do have nice things. "
"I’ve ordered lots of items from Kirkland’s.
And almost without fail, there are issues. Most “fragile” items are ship to store only, even though overstock, wayfair, Amazon, hobby lobby & others are all able to ship “fragile” items; Kirkland’s apparently is not.?!?.
Ok- so I can live with driving to a store ro pick up items, except that it takes 3/4 weeks or more to get items. I’ve ordered mirrors, large pics, rugs, lamps, & shelving- ALL took almost a month & some took longer - to get to the store. Then it’s a truly unpleasant experience trying to get someone to find the items in the back.
I’ve gone back to other stores after a year of trying to buy from Kirkland’s. Nice decor- too bad they cannot get their act together regarding shipping.
They need to go intern with the other furniture & home decor chains to learn about shipping & ordering practices."

"I was very excited to learn that a Kirkland's would be opening literally 5 minutes from my home. Unfortunately, there are many items listed online that are not offered in store and cost to ship so I often choose Ship to Store or look elsewhere. Unfortunately, no matter how small the item it still takes anywehere from 10 to 14 days to receive items. My most recent order (an outdoor piece of wall art - blue lizard) has taken 10 days to process and finally just shipped. So it will probably take another 4 days before I can pick it up. While they have unusual items (although expensive - sales and coupons help) I often look elsewhere whenever possible as it is so inconvenient to buy online which is not the case for other retailers that offer free shipping. "
