"Initially had issues getting my order to go through. That was a Paypal issue and Dana worked with me to resolve it. She was really awesome! That said, I should have taken the hint and not ordered from them.
The Coastal Cream cabinets are made in China. They look pretty, but really aren't the quality I expected. The cabinet boxes are a different color than the doors. In a straight run, it's not noticeable, but on the ends, it's really obvious. They also did not come with instructions for assembly for the spice cabinet or full instructions for the lazy Susan. Parts came in the packaging that was not shown or addressed anywhere in the assembly instructions that were provided and the markings for the lazy Susan placement was off by over 2 inches inside the cabinet. Great instructions for all the cabinets that were simple boxes, though...as if you'd need instruction for those. The pre drilled holes for the hinges and drawer glides do not line up on the cabinets, either. What should have been an easy put together and install is now going on two weeks, just for the assembly phase, and this is with two experienced carpenters doing the work.
My order arrived in one sealed/wrapped pallet and several large boxes. The day before arrival the shipper refused to deliver to my house, which resulted in us meeting them at a gas station at dusk. Thankfully I do own a truck, but had to wait until it was out of the shop to use it. Otherwise I'd have been loading cabinets into my car one cabinet and trip at a time. Had I done that, I might have noticed that my two 24" roll outs were missing from the order. While I did note the obvious box damage to the order on the bill of lading, it wasn't until the wrapped pallet was opened that we noticed the order did not contain the roll out trays. We also noticed, when unboxing the order, that several boxes contained a mixture of items from the order. I would have had to open each and every box, at the time of delivery, to determine if my order was complete and undamaged.
After the ordeal with Kitchen Cabinet Kings over the delivery, and Linda fiercely quoting their delivery agreement, trying to resolve this new issue would have been an exercise in futility. Oh, and to add icing to the cake, the insurance company for the trucking firm started calling after we had half the cabinets put together to come look at the damage. They need to see the damage to process the claim. Am I supposed to disassemble the cabinets for them? BTW - That's a rhetorical question.
I hope these cabinets last for more than 5 years, but I highly doubt it. Yes, I did receive a $100 credit for my trouble to pick up the order, but that does not negate the cost of the missing items or the over all frustration of dealing with this company. All I can say is never again..."
