"I buy my medical prescriptions there because when I needed a special medication it was hard to find & the pharmacist made sure that they had it for me every month. That was more than 10 years ago. When they closed stores a few years ago that pharmacist drove out of his way by 50+ miles because he liked the people he worked with & his customers so much. He still takes special care of my family. The prices of merchandise may be a little higherbut they have some great sales that make up the difference. Also with their awards card program I recently had built up enough points to pay for more than $40 in merchandise and I still had $4 left to use when ever I want. I love this store. Please don't close it. It's the Kmart in Griffith Indiana"
"I used to like and trust Kmart. But during the recent closings they have chosen to be really dishonest with customers knowing many suckers will buy anything they are told was on sale.
Kmart drastically marked up prices at the closing stores, sometimes several times greater than the normal price then discount it 5% TO 25% off.
For example Johnson and Johnson Jell Baby oil was 11.98, on sale at 20% off. A normal bottle at any drug store or grocery store would be under $3.00! So getting around $2.20 off means your still paying 3-4 times the normal price.
Another example was bikes, most marked 20% off then last week 25%. problem was I could find any of those bikes for 119.00 to 125.00 at Walmart and target that Kmart was charging $200.00 for, marking off 40 bucks and over charging by 40 to 50 bucks.
this was common all over the store, everything marked way above list prices then discounted a little to make people think they were getting a deal. Instead they were being robbed!"
"I am not a Kmart shopper this is not only my 1st, but my last time shopping with them. On 11/19 they had a sale bogo 50% off toys I ordered some toys , one being a batgirl doll for my niece for $7.99 .Well my order came in and they sent my a batman submarine (so not the same) so I called their customer service and the person told me they will have UPS come pick up the wrong item and send me the correct one. She tells me she needs to charge me for the item and then I'll get a credit when they get the other item back, I wasn't happy with it but she really wants this doll. So the agent proceeds to tell me the total is $22, I told here no that is not what I paid for the item and that it was unexceptable . She then tells me she'll just do an adjustment for the price difference and the shipping, so I asked her what was being charged to my card she said $7.99, I agreed to that and give my cc nbr. I then get the email of my order and low and behold I was charged $22. I then get an email stating that in 3-5 business days I'll get a credit for the overcharge. So they are now holding $30 of my money for an $8 item. And they are treating me like this is my fault, they will never get another penny of my money. I'll go anywhere else and spend 150% more just to avoid this company. By the way UPS was never contacted by Kmart to do a pick up from my home. And after 2 weeks waiting I went to my local Kmart to return the item and the customer service person in the store gave me a problem because the item wasn't on the receipt, after I told her 3 times they sent me the wrong item."
"Dishonest. Be prepared to be cheated. Bait and switch. Ordered baby monitor from Kmart.com with pick up in store option. Status indicated order ready for pickup. When I arrived clerk handed me closed bag. Good thing I opened the bag, a worthless substitution was made. I showed clerk, then manager my paperwork with item number, model number, and full description. I was told that the item in the bag is what THEY HAD TO GIVE ME regardless of what MY paperwork said. Manager took my phone number and promised to set it straight. No surprise that nothing was done. Nobody likes to get caught in fraudulant practices and I'm convinced it was intentional, not accidental, based on the responses and then lack of follow up. I'll never go out of my way to go into a Kmart again, and I'll never recommend their internet sales to anybody. I'd have had return shipping costs had I had it delivered. "

I decided to buy some Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez items on line. well, after putting all my info into the system and about to submit the order the total jumped up $10!! (it was at $45. now it's at $55!) i called to see what was going on and the cust rep told me that the items of the boots went up. i told her i didnt care if they went up, the items were not sitting in my cart waiting for me to proceed i was on the last step of submitting the order.
she asks me for my email and name; proceeds to tell me that she will fix it and take the rest of my order. i thank her and give her the other items. (i had 4 items total)
(i can barely understand her and she keeps muting the phone which was making it more difficult)
she asks me for my credit card number and i tell her i have one more item it's a hoodie. she tells me she got it.
which i dont understand how she got it i didnt tell her about it yet let alone the item number. so i tell her again and she tells me she got it. i figure i gave her my email maybe she can somehow see the page im on? i dont know how those things work..so i drop it.
she tells me that the order confirmation will show the more expensive price but the shipping confirmation will show the correct price. i tell her thank you; we hang up.
Well, i get the order confirmation and now the boots are at $40 and THERE"S NO HOODIE!!!!
at this point im irritated but didnt want to call back so i figured i will just buy my niece something else. later i figured that's not right and i was just irritated with the whole experience. I get online to cancel only to find out it's already shipped. the Shipping confirmation states $55! So now I'm back to the $55 but with no hoodie. So i call, there's nothing they can do there's no proof that I had the boots at $19. So i email them. I get an automated response stating that my questions are a priority and dont forget to sign up for emails!
WHAT?!?!?! I cant believe this place is still in business. I thought they were a reputable place, boy was i wrong!!
take your money elsewhere. go to ebay ... you'd get better customer service! (which is sad to say)"
"Kmart shipped the parcel by UPS to a POST OFFICE BOX!
And Kmart specified that UPS could not deliver it any were esle!
But UPS has no access to post office boxes!
Therefore I had to go to UPS (another city) and pick up order!
Any really dumb shippers that make a habbit of shipping by UPS to a post office box should lose their retail license on grounds of not being intelligent enough to participate in the economy.

"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I placed an order for 2 gifts on kmart.com and paid through my paypal account. The site redirected me to paypal.com multiple times then stating I had an address problem. In actuality I had a kmart problem which I found out when I called. They charged my account 3 separate times for the same 2 items. The representative told me that their site is experiencing problems so that is why, then said that she could process my order for me if I gave her my card number. I told her that I would risks my kids Christmas with their competition. Now I have to wait for the bank to post a provisional credit. How many people has the website screwed? "I placed an order and forgot to change the shipping address to my current address. I saw the mistake about 2 minutes after I placed the order, I called in and they couldn't do anything about it. sigh.. I call every day for 4 days straight. every time i call, I would get a different answer. First time I call , They said there's no way to change the address. The second time I called, they said they have placed a note in the system..Third time, They said its too late since its already on route. A simple fix became a huge headache. I know its my fault to begin with. but if the customer service were knowledgeable I would've gotten it fix the first time i called. Since one of the item shipped, I went to the old address and hope that the new owner will give me the package..but no, he said theres no package that came from UPS. HORRIBLE.. i lose out on money and my package. There's one more package from my order, and thats probably going to the old address too. ITS SO FRUSTRATING!!! how can you guys possibly not been able to fix this on your end. UPS website even has a button that helps u change delivery, but only for the shipper. "i would give then NO STARS at all if it were possible! I ordered an xbox 360 online, said it was instocked. The online representative i was chatting with said it was gurenteed to be in stock. So i purchased it thinking it'll be ready for pick up in about two hours ( like the website said) i waited for a whole week! No emails about if my order was ready for pick up. I emailed them two times. Was no help at all.. 2nd email they just said they did not have my order in stock and so they cancled my order? Wth, really? I did not asked for it to be canceled. And the website still shows the website still has it in stock!! Call customer service , the lady was rude!! Gave me attitudes and did not help me at all!! She said she couldnt do anything bc they were out of stock. Overall, WORST experience with them ever!! Never shopping with Kmart again!! Bad customer service ! Go somewhere else, pay a little bit more and you'll be happy . DONOT shop at kmart!"
"KMart (and all its related associates, including mygofer.com etc) is absolutely the most unreliable online merchant I had ever had the opportunity to deal with. Even if they give you the best prices, save yourself the time & frustration by paying more with another.
I gave them 2 chances, thinking the 1st was an unfortunate mishap but they did it again.
Echoing what everyone else says here, KMart either has a terrible inventory tracking system or a permanent failure failure their website, or sale of non-existent products. Whatever the reason they have, they end up giving you a different product from what was ordered, and instead of making up for their problem by compensating you with more or better product, they replace with less or worse! Returned the product and waiting for my refund so fingers crossed.
Interestingly my poor review on their website never gets published!!
I won't give them a 3rd online chance, that's for sure..... But in all fairness, their retail store is OK price decent- basically you get what you see."

"Kmart. com is AWFUL. STAY AWAY!!!! I ordered a spy net watch for my son for Christmas--a $60 toy. When the package came, it had a $10 Nerf gun in it. I called immediately, was told UPS would be sent out to pick it up and after they got the toy back my credit card would be credited. They would not send the correct toy unless I allowed them to charge my credit card again for $60. Long story short, the email to tell me when UPS would come never came, UPS never came, and over the last two weeks I have called half a dozen times trying to sort this out. Every time I call it's like I am reporting the problem for the first time. The last time I called the representative promised to email me a label so I could take the package to UPS myself without being charged the mailing fee, but while the survey to rate the rep came, no label ever came. Meanwhile, my credit card was stolen and I had to cancel it so Kmart said they can't give me my money back, only a gift card for their store. They got cash from me, but I'm supposed to take a gift card for a store I now loathe? This sums it up: KMART IS INEPT FROM START TO FINISH AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE BEYOND INCOMPETENT!!!!!! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE and do your shopping elsewhere. "ORDERED 2 SWEATERS. they only sent one, then sent me a Bra? I have emailed back and forth with them, saying they sent me the wrong item. Now they sent me a UPS return label and wont send the sweater I was charged for, and wont reimburse me for the stupid bra until they get it back-its not even my size!! "Kmart in Lancaster, SC has got to be the worse store not only for customer service but stupidity! Always one register open. They are rude. NEVER has the items in the sales paper in stock. When you ask they look at you and reply," I don't know".
Kmart needs to properly train their employees. I recommend a drug test too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't bother calling corporate. They are just as bad as the managers of the stores. They don't care.
