"Wanted to return knobs wrong color and reorder different finish; sent email 12/11/13; no response; sent more emails to more depts 12/16/13/ then 12/17/13 recd nondescript email; still no return authorization nor instructions; 12/18/13 I called; girl was curt; said they will send return instructions in about 7-10 biz days, so it sounds like they will use my ? over a month plus charge me for shipping both ways. Not good customer service."
"Usually I thoroughly research any perspective purchase, but this time I did not. I guess I was so excited to save over $100 on each of 2 specialty cabinet pulls I wanted. A few days after I placed the order, it occurred to me to check out the company. I wish I hadn't because the reviews were so bad. I feared that instead of saving over $200, that I would be in the hole for over $300. But this story has a happy ending. I called the company to check the status of the order since I could not find the info with their on-line system (and that had me worried). The customer service rep was very nice and said she'd check and call me back. And she did--the next day. She told me my order was scheduled to ship the coming Monday. I felt better but
knew I wouldn't totally relax until the handles arrived. They did arrive today--they seem perfect!!! Ordering from this company turned out to be a significant savings and a smooth experience for me. I'd still be hesitant to order from them again only because of all the horror stories I read. "
"I normally do not take the time to write reviews but I have to say I am extremely pleased with the whole process from start to finish working with this company. After almost 2 years of searching for replacement handles for our vintage 50s kitchen I was amazed at the selection they offered if the size range we were looking for. We had visited a bunch of local retailers and no one had the breathe of offering as we found at knobs4less.com . we placed our order last Monday over the phone and was very pleased with the amount of time the young lady took to help us make sure we had the right size and finish. the follow up emails kept us informed and Friday we received our order. "Darn it. I forgot to check this merchant on ResellerRatings before I ordered. I got two samples (which came promptly enough I suppose). But I ordered 16 pulls on 2/5. My card was charged 2/6. I've yet to receive either the pulls or an indication they have shipped. It is now 8 days post order and nothing. I called and they said they would get back to me. Nothing. If I don't hear from them tomorrow, I will simply process a cancellation on my credit card. I should have vetted them better."

I am pleased to update with a positive post. Yesterday I was a bit concerned after reading all the negative posts. However, My order did process yesterday which is on the 4th day after ordered placement. Remember, day 1 is the day following the day your order is placed. I also received an email with my tracking number. This is something I did not receive when I placed my samples and was one of my major complaints. I'm sure this was because of the disruption of standard procedure after Hurricane Sandy. My order will arrive on Friday which is the 3 day shipping I paid for. Note: My package was picked up in Illinois and Knobs4Less is located in New York whick tells me orders do ship from a remote warehouse(s). Now, I only need to hope that I receive the right number of knobs and handles and in good condition.

I'm a little nervous after reading 2+ years’ worth of complaints. I did order samples, received them and have placed my full order 4 days ago. My only complaint right now is the processing time and the lack of online info for order status.
They do have a "order status" button but it only shows you your order, it does not tell you anything about where you are in the shipping process. I called customer service a few days after I ordered the samples, they were hit by Hurricane Sandy and phones lines were down. I called the next day and they answered, they were able to tell me my items shipped that day and what day they would arrive. They indeed did come the day they specified. I would like to have received a tracking number so I could follow the items myself. Customer service would take fewer calls if their "order status" link actually told you something and they sent you an email with tracking info.
Now that I placed my full order on a Friday morning, it's now Tuesday. I called customer service to see if my order shipped. I paid for 3 day delivery service. Bummer...Unlike most companies, the 3-4 days processing is NOT shortened by paying extra for fast shipping. She said, the warehouse needs that 3-4 days just to process the order and the shortened shipping time is ONLY for the shipping itself. I'm in California so for $29 I'll receive them 2 days sooner. I would not have done that if I knew that.
Note: When she was predicting when my order would ship, she did not count the day I ordered them as day 1. So, the bottom line is expect nearly a week for your order to hit the streets plus actual shipping time.
After reading the reviews, I sure hope I receive the correct number of knobs I ordered and that they are not damaged."
"I placed an order for 15 drawer pulls on October 1st. The website showed availability of the product. On the 2nd I received email confirmation of my order. On the 3rd I received an email stating that the items were out of stock and they expected to be able to ship in approximately 2 weeks. My card was charged on October 9th, effective dated to the 3rd, so they put the charge through AFTER they knew that the stock was not available. It is now November 2nd and nothing. I believe that the business was affected by Hurricane Sandy, but these problems all occurred before the hurricane. I have emailed them asking for a refund. Do not order from this company. By the way, I went to Baldwin Hardware Direct website and made the same order for $144, vice $168 from knob4less.com."

"I want to update my original review (which detailed my frustration with an order of a Byron Bell Door Chime made in March of 2012, and which I cancelled on July 18, 2012). I received a call from Knobs4Less/MyKnobs on July 19, 2012. The representative was very apologetic and explained that they have been having trouble with the manufacturer of the Byron Bell (situated in London)-- which has not been responsive to their requests for information on shipment dates. They have had so much trouble, they have decided to discontinue the line. She was very apologetic and offered to send me one of the floor samples. I received the floor sample the very next day. In light of this call, I feel a need to revise my review as the company clearly cares about the consumer, and does its best to make amends.

"This company has a deceptive website. I placed an order on Monday and checked the order status on Wednesday then Thursday. Live chat pops up and I asked if order shipped. "Courtney" informs me that it is 3-4 days just to process the order before the manufacturer will ship. I am guessing this company just takes and aggregates orders and does not warehouse or handle.

"Pretty bad experience overall. They were the best price by about 10% over a number of other online merchants, but it turned out to not be worth the savings. A very small order took over two weeks to receive, and there was no visibility into the status of the order during the whole period - it always showed "ships in 3-4 business days".
When I finally received the order, it was two items short, so I immediately called and asked to have my credit card credited for the missing items, then called Amazon. Within hours, Amazon had shipped the order and I received it within two days - that is worth much more than the few dollars saved through Knobs4Less, and I have yet to see the credit posted to my card.
On another note - for online retailers, LampsPlus is hard to beat. They have a great selection, great web site, and are usually very fast at shipping an order. All specialty online retailers could learn something from LampsPlus."
"TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this vendor. Also note that they are the same company as KNOBS.COM but don't say so anywhere on their site. I received order confirmation and then a call a week later to advise that the 60 pieces of the item was on back order. So I check with Knobs.com's chat line and they tell me they have 60 pieces in stock. I reconfirm with a phone call to knobs.com and they too say they have 60 in stock. I get another call from Knobs4Less which is when I find out they are the same company! Yes, they are OUT of Stock. So I ask if I will get a single piece sample in 5 days. Oh yes I will says them. 10 days later, no sample. I call. Oops, we cancelled the sample order and not the 60 pieces. Meanwhile I have now lost 3 weeks! I call customer service and the manager with some options like maybe sending me the 60 pieces and if I don't like them, to waive the restocking fee. No dice and she talks to me like its my problem. I guess it sure isnt theirs!!! Clearly they don't care about customer service. - UNHAPPY CUSTOMER."
"Terrible customer service,I suggest you buy what you need somewhere else. I made my order, received order confirmation, so far so good. A few days after placing my order, I received another email from knobs4less with an order confirmation for an order that I hadn't placed. The order had been payed for with a Visa card, and since I don't have a Visa, I wasn't the one paying for this order either. I emailed them about this, no response. A couple days later, I received tracking confirmation, and the next day the items. I called customer service to notify them that they shipped me someone else's order, but I would be happy to ship it back at their cost. First, they told me I must have payed for it, otherwise the name on the credit card wouldn't have matched the name on the order, so the charge wouldn't have gone through. I'd already checked my own account to make sure they hadn't charged me by mistake. Then, after checking the order number, I was told that this order was a telephone order, and they don't keep records of telephone orders, so there was no way to know who had actually placed this order. Then I was told I could return the items. I said I would be happy to, but wouldn't pay shipping costs. I was then told someone would have to call me back. No return call. A couple weeks later, I received email instructions on how to return the items (at my cost, of course) for a refund. So,I still have the items. As for my actual order, it was a custom order, supposed to ship in approximately 2 weeks. After 4 weeks, I again call customer service. First, they tell me custom orders take about 2 weeks to ship (I've already stated it has been 4 weeks). I am told that they will have to check with the manufacturer, and call back on Monday. No call Monday. Repeat call Tuesday, same results, they will call Wednesday. No call Wednesday. I call again late Wednesday, finally the person checks and tells me the items are shipping the next day. My order was great once it finally arrived, and I can't say for sure whether the manufacturer or knobs4less was at fault for the delay in receving my order, but I will never order from them again. "

"Do not order from this website. Their prices are low but you will pay for it in the end. I placed my order and the website said "usually ships in 3 to 4 days". I check daily for a week after placing the order to get order status update. The order status, shows my order but no other info. A week later they finally get around to telling me the items are back ordered until 10/10- more than a month after my order date. Meanwhile several sites for just a few dollars more have the items in stock and will ship within 2 days. Don't waste time with this site. Go elsewhere. "
