Trash retailer!

"Tried to place several orders using Kohl's card all of which were cancelled. The Kohl's coupons require that you use their card which is a deceitful business practice. Was told they could not verify me even after giving customer service dob and ssn. I will take my business elsewhere, good riddence!"

If I could have given ZERO STARS I would have

"If I could have selected ZERO STARS I would have! They don't deserve one.
I order 3 pairs of the same shoes for the men in my wedding party, and only received 2 of them. No big deal, but I called to have the missing pair sent to me and was told they no longer have the size I need. So I asked to speak with a supervisor to find a way to get me what I ordered, and was told they would call me in half and hour....I waiting a week and never heard back. At which point I called them back AGAIN. I was finally able to reach a supervisor. They told me they had the shoes I order available in a different size. So I asked them to go ahead and send me a size up from what I order. They then told me they couldn't do that unless I signed up for a kohl's credit card.....so they messed up my order. Couldn't replace my order and couldn't even send me a different size....now I have to take time out my busy schedule to go to a store to get a refund on the one they didn't send and return the others, because their customer service line could literally do NOTHING to help me resolve the issue they caused.....what the heck is a custom service line for if not to resolve issues like this....I will never be shopping at kohl's again, and I will not recommend them to anyone!

Khol’s must sell my email to other companies. Every time I make a purchase online, I get bombarded with emails which I HATE

Warranty is a joke

"Doesn't stand behind lifetime warranty

I purchased a cookwear set, Bobby Flay brand, with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. The Teflon came off and a pan was replaced. After a few years the Teflon has came off a second pan. I called and was offered a 20% discount that I can easily obtain from simply signing up for emails. I explained I have a binding warranty that states that a pan of equal or greater value will be given for any type of defects. They told me the company was out of business and that was all they would be offering

Bad Packaging of Fragile Items

"Kohl’s is my favorite store. I’m an MVP. I have been having issues with how orders are packaged for shipment. Very inconsistent. Lately I have been purchasing Hallmark ornaments and am a collector. As such, the ornament as well as the condition of the ornament box are important to me. Hallmark ornaments are not cheap and they are being shipped in thin poly mailers w/o any bubble wrap or protection. When shipped this way they usually show up crushed, especially when shoved into my mailbox. I’ve spoke to CS and they are wonderful. Replacements are sent and again come in a polymailer crushed. Some of the ones purchased are no longer available and Hallmark is sold out as well. PLEASE speak with your shipping depts as sometimes they do arrive packaged properly. Thank you"

Ripped me off for $15

"Kohls ripped me off! I had a $15 credit and they failed to honor it. On Sept. 20, 2021 I spoke with an agent, "Daniel" 4079, who said he'd get back to me. He never did!
Lesson learned: Never accept a merchandise credit. Get the cash!!!

DON'T BOTHER

"Kohls and kohls.com are such F*ups
They used to be a reputable company that carried first-class merchandise, until this pandemic. Now its all way overpriced dollar store quality, and a messed up website junk return policy. I needed some new skorts (not skirts) as my local Goodwill, Target etc. no longer carry, or out of stock. And I wanted to use my kohl's charge. Ordered 4 knee length size 10 skorts, and what I received were 4 mini skirts. I went to the website to do an easy return, and discovered that Kohls had changed that. Now you either have to visit a store OR spend an hour on the phone with their useless CS.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with

"Every order I've placed with kohl's in the past six months has been a problem. They send me a coat with the sleeve sewn shut. The replacement has a security tag attached and they expected me to go to the store and have it removed. Yeah, I'm going to walk into a store so I can get arrested for shoplifting. Every order gets split into multiple shipments and at least one of those shipments gets lost. The customer service reps lie and treat you like an idiot. To top it off, they send me a lousy 15% off coupon. I've been a loyal customer for YEARS. I'm done with kohl's, they don't care about the customer."

Horrible customer service

"If I could less than 1 star, I would. I have been on phone w customer service at least 10 times since LAST August, it is now mid February trying to get refund on a $633 purchase whereby ALL items have been confirmed since August as having been returned. Awful experience after 40 years of shopping Kohl’s. Every time I call, I get a small credit on my card. They still owe me almost $300. Last call 14 days ago, I said I need THEM to call me instead of me going through all of this AGAIN. They said wait 7-10 days. They always say 7-10 days. NO call back yet. Customer service is in the toilet. I need to FLUSH."

worst experience ever

"I believe that Kohl's criteria for hiring is that applicants must be rude, preoccupied, non-stop texters, and unfriendly. I think this company trains their staff to treat senior citizens as if we're ignorant, blithering, useless creatures not worthy of their time. I never judge a store by one experience or one "bad apple" or one "bad day"; however, when the bad experience is the "norm" I conclude that this is not the place for me. "

Bait and switch

" We ordered a J. A. Henckels International utility knife from Kohl's online for the sale price of $40.49. We picked the knife up the following day at the store. We knew exactly what we were looking for. We enlarged the blade, on our computer, to ensure it was not made in China. When we arrived home and unwrapped the knife on the blade was marked MADE IN CHINA! This is a $20.00 knife!!"

Terrible Customer Service

"I ordered multiple items November 24th that got separated to be shipped in 4 different packages. I only received 2 packages. When I contacted customer service they told me that I had to wait until December 8th to see if the packages arrived and to contact customer service again if they didn't. They never arrived so once again I waited over an hour to chat with someone and they told me they won't refund my money because the boxes could still arrive. Mind you one package has said "In transit" with no location for 5+ days now with no change and the other still said "Awaiting item arrival" meaning the shipping service still hadn't received the package. And yet Kohl's does not care and told me that they won't do anything to make it right. Instead they told me to wait another 12 days to see if the packages come and if the don't they want me to reach out for a 3rd time to see how/if they can fix it. I wasted 3+ hours of my time waiting for responses from their slow and terrible customer service to get nothing done. Also, when I brought up the fact that their website says you have to purchase something by December 11th to get it in time for Christmas but I purchased something on November 24th and they won't send me replacements in time they didn't care and had no response. Then before we were done chatting the representative disconnected the chat. I will never purchase anything from here ever again and I advise you to do the same."
