"Kohl's is the worst. They flagged my account, which I never run a balance on. When I called them about it, they said I would have to FAX in a copy of a photo ID (driver's license) and utility bill. I politely asked them to close the account. They won't close it without the ID and utility bill. This is beyond ridiculous."
"My over all experience with Khols has been awful. First off i paid my account off in Feb 2019 with in 2 wks i received a bill where i still owed 51 dollars i called and question this customer service could not give me a answer took my information down and i was told i should go ahead and pay it otherwise i would occure a late fee so i did or they would refund me. I was like ok i will. So i just thought hmm 1 wk went by and i thought ok i will check it and see cause no one has reached out to me at all. "Today myself and my daughter stop at Kohl`s on Lohr Drive in Ann Arbor, MI to return an item and buy things for my son. We went to the customer Service for returns. We waited in the line for our turn and the associate took my return and check out my items.When my daughter wanted to check out her only item SHE (the associate) throw away in my Daughter face the item and she( the associate) said that to us that she has a line waiting. She refuse to serve my daughter, her behavior was unacceptable and the associate was prejudice. I hope her authority will make her accountable for her actions and fired her."

So I go on their site which ****, try to ship to my store won't let me. Also won't let me use my coupon and site won't tell ne why. After several minutes on live chat sorry that product is excluded. "Ordered pair of boots as a gift for my wife for Christmas. Received them this Thursday. I opened the sealed bag to find a smashed and torn box. Opening the box there is only 1 boot not a pair like I ordered just 1 boot. Spoke with 3 associates. Was told they could get me another pair between December 28th and January 4th. I asked for them to be expedited but got the same answer 3 times. I would have hoped being it was their mess up they might overnight them seeing that Christmas is Tuesday. But not the case. A refund has been issued and I emailed and called again today (Friday) I asked to purchase the boots and Kohl’s overnight them. I was told it would be a new order and I would have to pay extra to get them here, which is 30 dollars. You would have that they would make it right. Now I have one boot. "
"I had a horrible experience with Kohls and have never ordered or bought a thing in that store since. I had ordered a Keurig Brewer that was supposedly on sale , and if you ordered a certain amt. you earned Kohls cash and there was a rebate at the time for $25.00 well they did not give me the Kohls cash nor the rebate. I contacted Kohls customer service and was told that my order was placed after the time and the promotion had expired ! What ?
I had been on the computer and placed that order while that was still valid, But they tried to tell me that the promotion ended at 12:00 am est and I placed the order at 12:02 est. OMG !! You have to be kidding me , I could not believe what I was being told . I said OK forget it but what about the rebate ? That is still good , I'd already lost out on $50.00 Kohls cash and wanted the rebate , They told me I had to contact Keurig about that, They lied to me. I did contact keurig.com and they must have thought I was crazy, I told them what Kohls told me and they said NO , if Kohls offers a rebate they (Kohls) honors it NOT Keurig , but they felt so bad for me they gave me a credit for 6 boxes of free coffee k-cups ! I also found out in the end that I could have bought the Brewer at regular price cheaper at Keurig.com than I did on sale at Kohls.com In the end I got nothing from Kohl's , NO rebate and no Kohl's cash , I got ripped off ! I have spread the word world wide - Don't buy from Kohl's they jack up prices then lower them and say it's a sale , You are NOT getting any deals at Kohl's. There products are low quality , cheaply made at high prices. I would never and have never bought from Kohl's since this incident and neither have any of my many friends and their friends."
"I bought over $600 worth of toys on black Friday and then again a couple of days later. When I bought the same exact toys later, they were less expensive(a week later they are STILL less expensive). I called to ask for a price adjustment and Jimmy would not offer any. His only suggestion was to return all of the items. Wow! I will not be shopping Kohl"s again!!"
"I placed an order that said I stock checked out and used a mystery code good for only today. Two and half hours later o get an email that tells me the item has sold out recently. Now my card had already been charged. Cakes customer service and the guy didn’t speak good English and didn’t know anything about bank holds. He refused to give me another code to use after the hold releases. He even wanted me to place another order that might for something else and place yet another hold on my card. And I needed those glasses so I am done shopping online with this company maybe period. I can’t afford to place an order and then it get canceled and I have to wait 7 days to get my money back. Still not understanding how I was able to buy an item that was no longer in available. SO DONE "
"On 10/22/18 I ordered two Halloween sweatshirts for my kids to wear on Halloween. When ordered said it should arrive 10/25-10/30 so I went ahead with the purchase. When checked online it said I should have delivery on 11/01. So I called customer service they said for 29.99 they can 2 day ship new ones out to me. Unacceptable to me. She said they could for a one time Courtesy wave the 29 fee but I have to buy the new sweatshirt and get a refund when I send back the other ones. All I wanted was what I ordered at the time they said it would be delivered. In return I asked to speak with a supervisor I was then left on hold for 22 mins then hung up on. When I called right back and asked to speak with supervisors I was left on hold for 52 mins. What a joke. I will never purchase anything from this store again they have horriable customer service and think they are doing you a favor by waving a fee for shipping but I will be charged twice just to get Halloween stuff before nov 1. "The first bad experience I had came when I tried to order towels. They canceled the order, then tried to convince me I canceled it. Then they couldn't reorder them because they sold out. They were incredibly rude and continually talked over me when I was trying to explain. I was so mad, I emailed the CEO! Their response was pleasant and so I tried again.
OY! They sent me wrong items, double items, and missing items! When I called the agent was so bad that they told me I would 1, have to return their errors to the store (WHAT?!) and 2, If I wanted the pants I had ordered but never got, I would have to rebuy them (fully) and hope that their investigation refunded the money for the ones they didn't send (WHAT?!) They also cautioned me that my KOHLs Cash would be messed up, but should clear up when I got the email outlining their investigation finding (GREAT!)

Calling today I was told they would email me my KOHLs Cash. The one they emailed was expired (AWESOME!) and when I called back, I was told I can not use them online. The item I was trying to buy is an online only item. They told me to go to the store and 'get something else!' I ordered the original items on the 4th of August, it's not like it's been a long time!
WOW! No thanks. You can keep your cash. I don't want it that badly.

"I placed a wrong order online and wanted a return. It is a simple return request. It took me 3 weeks back and forth messages and calls with customer service. They wasted me so much time and energy. Still they don't have a resolution for me! On going... What a moron company! Why you make it so difficult! They just want me to pick it up and send it back in person to a store. But not everyone live close to a store or have the time to do it. It is a big heavy box! Why is it so hard for you to provide a shipping label and pick up?? It is simply STUPIDITY! "

"Kohls is actually more rigged than you would first expect. Their online mechanism is 10 years out of date, especially when compared to Amazon. There is a 30 minute "grace" window to change an order - otherwise it's sent to some warehouse and no one can touch it after that. This is all fine until one little thing happens that would usually be no problem for Amazon, like canceling one item from an order. JUST SHOP AMAZON ONLINE"
"Nobody in the entire chain of command has any idea about what's going on within their company.
I made a Kohl's Charge card because they were pushing the 30% off discounts, but I have never been able to use it.
To start, I had to wait 5 weeks before I could ask them to send out a new card because I never received it (note: this isn't the 90s; a mail does not take over a week to be received within the 48 cont. states,) and when they finally did send out a new card, the new card number you get is 02 for the ending number instead of 01. Talk about security. Ironically, when you place an order with the card, you have to go into the local store to verify your address change which kind of defeats the whole purpose of online sales, and when I refused and canceled the order, I was never authorized to make any online purchases after that.
The most frustrating thing out of all this was that nobody in the entire company from sales, support, tech, credit to even the customer service at the local store knew why. NO ONE. My final question was 'so what can I do to use this card?' to which they answered 'I am really sorry, but I am not sure.' GREAT. Bye Kohl's."
