I ordered a $450 HP laptop online over May. Received it a week later. It was a lemon. Apparently, the ratings didn't load correctly on my phone. But they've had issues with their website since 2021...Items listed as in or out of stock when they're not. So I returned the lemon to my local store. A newer, older guy Mgr. (who was apparently training someone) couldn't seem to scan any of the simple barcodes on the shipping box OR the online receipt I'd brought with me. When I've never had any issues with returning even a printer before. He finally managed to print me a very small, odd looking 3x3 receipt, while stating the credit "may take" 7-10 days, because the warehouse was now handling all returns ... okay. It used to be 2-3 days. But processing can change.
Well, after 7 days, no refund. I called the store, who "didn't know how to help me" ... "sometimes it takes a few days" runaround, when I TOLD THEM it'd been 7. Something wasn't right, and I knew it. So I contacted the website HQ chat, who also gave me runaround. Now it's been 20 days with no refund. It finally took 2 complaints to the BBB, AND the company website, to get any legible response. It's NOW been 31 days, and emails back n forth with HQ, patiently waiting to see if I finally get my money refunded. I am so done with them, it ain't funny."
