"I ordered some clothes from them online, and just now get an email notice 5 days later that one of my items is no longer available. One of the reasons I shopped from them online was their prominently displayed "CLEARANCE" section on their web site.
They must have poor inventory control if they advertise something for sale, then turn around and tell you "just kidding!".
Now, instead of them selling an additional item, they have ticked off a customer who won't be shopping with them again anytime soon.
EDITED TO ADD: After closely reviewing my charges, I realized they overcharged me by almost five bucks. Have no idea why, and now I need to go to their brick-and-mortar location to straighten it out. Last time I shop with this company!"
"Very dissatisfied. Ordered multiple items online, order arrived about two weeks later, one item was marked as shipped, charged to my CC but was not with the order. After a call to customer service I was assured that the missing item would be sent out and that it should arrive within 10 days. Two weeks later, still no goods and another phone call in which I was told that a new mistake had been made and that customer service had cancelled the order instead of shipping it. Again I was told that my order would ship, now with upgraded priority shipping. Two weeks later a final email stating that the merchandise was no longer available (even though other merchants have the same item in stock), and CC card charge refunded. Kohls online is one incompetent merchant, they screwed up the order from the beginning and never could correct their mistakes, if you want to buy from Kohls it’s best to physically go to one of their stores, I will never buy online from them again."

"I placed an order on kohls.com and decided I wanted to change it (buy the same item plus an additonal one to combine shipping), I called to cancel my original order but during the process I noticed the item in my original order went out of stock (I still wanted it).
The customer service agent went WAY out of his way to ensure I still got my item, then placed a seperate order for the second item I wanted, waived shipping on it and applied a discount code I had recieved that didn't take originally in the order. All this time he was very pleasant and patient.
I have dealt with a lot of customer service agents... they run the gammut... this has to rate as one of the top 3 or 4 experiences I have had.
Sady I forgot to get his name or ID number, but he was so nice I actually wrote the company to ask for it so I could compliment him. Hopefully I get a response from them.
If not, to the CS agent who helped me with the 2 Columbia backpacks, if you ever read this, you did an incredible job!"
"I ordered a pair of in-stock pants as a gift within the window that Kohl's advertised would ship by Christmas. The online tracking now states that the pants will arrive Jan. 2-7 instead. I contacted customer service, which was unwilling to correct the problem. I'm stuck paying $6.95 in shipping costs for a gift that won't arrive until next year. I was unimpressed with the level of responsiveness and the tone of the first two customer service reps who responded. I didn't plan to shop online with Kohl's again.
Update: Later I called to talk to a different Kohl's representative who was courteous, concerned, and made her best effort to resolve the issue. In the end I got my merchandise about two days after Christmas, but we had a storm that delayed delivery. Otherwise I think it would have been here on time. The efforts of the final rep who helped me did improve the situation, and the merchandise itself was as represented. Bottom line: I'd give this store another try online, but I wouldn't count on their promised delivery dates."
"First time buyer for Kohls, on a Black Friday no less, with free shipping with $75 purchase. Kohls had the best price for the kitchen electric I was searching for, so I bought a couple of other items to take the total to just $75. Everything arrived the next week, received a UPS tracking number two days after purchase, Everything works, nothing broken, will at least browse their website for any decent deals. Positive Experience."

"On 9-17 I order 4 pair of Dockers® Relaxed Fit Flat Front Chinos Sku# 25613018. After 2 weeks I had still not received my pants. I was offered a refund on my shipping, and was told it would be looked into and I would receive an email in a few days. That never came, I then called back a week or 2 later, was told the package was likely lost and a trace would be put in for the package, and I would receive a email again in a few days.
More then a week goes by and NOTHING happens. I called back on the October 31st, and am told a trace was never put in for my package until October 25th, at this point I am furious, I have talked to multiple people who all told me this would be taken care of, this has NOT happened. I then called today November 7th, now this person tells me the package trace request wasn't put through till the 31st and I have to wait longer! This is absoluetely insane, I put in this order nearly 2 months ago. Then to top all of this off, I am told my package can no longer be replaced!
I ordered these items because they were on clearance. Now because of no fault of my own I am told I will never get the items I ordered!
All of this is not to even go into the attitude the customer service people give."

I ordered some pants on the 11th...got an email on the 16th that they finally shipped...
Then on the 26th I still hadn't seen them... So I emailed and they told me they were going to perform a trace that could take 5-10 days.
I just received the pants now.
No one told me the status of the trace or anything. They probably asked for 5-10 days to reship a new pair and cover their butts.
What a crock..."
"I purchased two pillows from this company and I received no email contact after the order confirmation for a week. I emailed to ask the status of the order, I was told it would ship in 5-10 days. Two hours later I get a cancellation confirmation. I called to see why my order was cancelled and was told the items were out of stock. At this point everything was apparently out of stock, so I am out of a week of waiting, and no pillows."
