"Kohl's in St Louis Park MN has a manager at their store that has terrible customer service. She was upset that she had to do a void and so completely inappropriate that I feel bad for anyone that works at that store. I am even more disappointed that Kohls would even have a member on their team who is so RUDE! Their motto is "expect great things" well if you go to this store in St Louis Park MN.... Expect awful service! Kohls cares yeah right! Two thumbs down!!!!!!!! "
"Until recently, I was a regular Kohl's shopper. On 9/27 I ordered over $100 worth of stuff. Kohl's told me they shipped it and gave me a UPS tracking number. A week later I checked that tracking number to see when it would arrive. The tracking number was bogus. Kohl's never shipped it.
When I contacted Kohl's, they said there was a UPS problem so the merchandise couldn't be shipped. (It was clothing and sheets, not toxic waste) They offered a refund and I told them I didn't want a refund I just wanted them to fill the order. They said that wasn't possible and they would issue a refund. I communicated with FOUR different customer service reps and got the same story from each.
It's 10/12 and I still don't have any merchandise and no refund has been issued to my Kohl's credit card.
When I contacted customer service again to inquire about the refund, they said it took 10 to 14 business days to issue a refund to the Kohl's credit card. It only takes 1 day to post a charge.
That bill is due on 10/13 and I'm not paying for merchandise they at first neglected to ship, and later, refused to ship.
They've made it quite clear that customer service is not important to them and I won't shop with Kohl's again. "
"Worst online experience ever. Never received the items even after a month after ordering them. 6 phone calls, each at least 30 minutes, bad customer service ... oh, the pain of ordering from Kohls. "
"A couple of years ago someone introduced me to Kohl's & gave me some Kohl's cash. I placed 2 online orders then, & didn't have problems, but within the last month it's been a completely different story.
In August, I placed an order online with Kohl's for some clothes, updated my billing address, and selected the option to have my order shipped to my billing address. While Kohl's updated my billing address so they could charge me for the order, they shipped my order to my old billing address (where I no longer resided). Two different customer service reps actually told me to go to my old apartment and try to retrieve the order from the new tenants. I had to pay to place the same order a second time, & hope that the items would be returned to Kohl's. They wouldn't resend the order, either; they said I would have to pay for all of the items a second time to have them resent. I insisted on speaking to a manager who said she would make sure I received a refund on the first shipment, either once FedEx returned it, or the shipping deadline past. Therefore, I paid to place the same order again.
This month, stupidly, I placed another online clothes order with Kohl's, & 1 of the items I received had been incorrectly sent in place of the shirt I had ordered. I called Customer Service, and was instructed to take the incorrect shirt to a Kohl's store to return, & the rep would reorder the shirt for me, which meant I had to pay for it again. He waived the shipping charge, but wouldn't expedite shipping. Part of the previous order I described had received twice by then, so I had to go to the store to return it. (The order that was shipped to my old address had been sent in 2 parts. For some reason the part shipped FedEx was actually sent USPS and forwarded because of my mail forwarding order. The other part that was sent USPS was not forwarded and was returned to Kohl's). When my replacement shirt order arrived, it turned out to be the same wrong shirt that they had shipped me the first time. I called Customer Service, and again was instructed to take the shirt to a Kohl's store to return it. I told the rep I had done that once, and since the error was again made on Kohl's part, asked for free return shipping. The rep told me I would receive an e-mail with return shipping instructions. However, the e-mail I received asked me to call Customer Service so they could find out when I had received the shirt; and then they would decide if they would provide me with return shipping.
I have never had such a terrible online shipping experience before. I have certainly encountered shipping errors before, but in my personal experience, the shipper takes responsibility for their errors. They provide free return shipping, or resend items that I have not received & do not make me purchase them a second time. Plus, shopping online is something I do to save myself a trip to the store. I don't want to wait for items to be shipped and then still have to make a trip to the store, because the merchant keeps making errors with my order. I have learned my lesson now and will simply stop shopping at Kohl's."
"I would give them zero stars if I could. I have never written one of these reviews before, but I feel I really have to say something here. The service from Kohl's was unbelievably bad. They received a duplicate order from me because the screen went down when I tried to add a coupon code. When I tried the second time with the code, the order went through BUT THE PRICE WENT UP IN AMOUNT WITHIN A FEW CENTS OF THE VALUE OF THE COUPON BY WAY OF ADDING A SHIPPING CHARGE. I soon received receipts for both orders, immediately contacted the supposed customer service department who refused to cancel one of the orders because the amounts were not identical and therefore it couldn't be a duplicate order. After multiple emails and repeated explanations, they STILL declined to cancel the duplicate order.
I finally contacted my bank and they removed the second charge.
This organization is dishonest in its coupon discount practices and completely unhelpful. Don't buy from them. I should have stuck with One Hanes Place.

"Horrible experience. I ordered 4 curtains and 2 curtain rods from their website. A week later, I received the items. When I got home, I open the packages and find they only sent 1 curtain rod instead of 2, despite the invoice saying there was 2 included. So I called customer service who told me, "According to the weight, the item shipped was 6 lbs. There's no way a single curtain rod weighed 6 lbs." I told her, including the 4 1/2 ft box the rod came in & packing material, I'm sure it weighed 6 lbs. She insisted that was impossible and refused to send out a new one until I informed her that I would dispute the charges on my credit card since they failed to ship what I paid for. Finally she acquiesced and agreed to ship me out a new curtain rod. But, in order to do so, they'd have to issue me a credit on my credit card for the one I originally ordered and then reorder an entirely new one. I agreed, but there was a catch. The credit will take up to 30 days to show up on my credit card. Just peachy.
Well, the new curtain rod came today and, first off, according to the package, it weights 6 lbs. Secondly, they sent me the wrong size. I originally ordered a 48" - 86" rod and they sent me out a 24" - 48" rod. So once again I called to complain. So, one again they tell I have to order a new one and then take a credit for the wrong item. And again, that credit will take up to 30 days to appear on my credit card. Or, I can make a special trip to a store and return it in person and get a credit a bit faster. I told them I didn't want to wait another 30 days for a credit and agreed to take it to the store.
Now here's the best part. The item I ordered was on sale for $19.99. But now it's no longer on sale and the price is $39.98. However, they will honor the $19.99 price...but they'll have to charge me $39.98 and I'll receive a credit adjustment 2 weeks later.
This is ludicrous. By the time I get the right size rod, I will have been forced to purchase it 3 separate times, had my credit card charged for all 3 purchases...one of the purchases being double what I originally paid...and then I'll be waiting for these supposed credits to get applied to my credit card some time within 30 days.
Beware. Kohls online is EXTREMELY shady and offers abysmal customer service. "
"I ordered a Hoover windtunnel pet rewind from Kohl's.com. I ended up finding one I liked better from another company. I called Kohl's customer service to cancel the order within 12 hous of placing the order and was assured by customer service the order was cancelled, so I purchased the vacuum I liked better from the other company and low and behold the vacuum I ordered from Kohl's arrived at my house. i emailed and called Kohl's to get this resolved and still have not. Their customer service is horrible and they definately need retrained. I will never order anything again from Kohl's.com and recommend you do not either."

"I ordered several gifts from them online this holiday season. I received everything at a wonderful price and in a timely manner. I also got Kohl's cash which I easily used on another online purchase that went even smoother than the last.
After christmas I had several returns, some without receipts. They were able to look up a receipt by using my credit card. I had my money back in a few short moments and was not given any crap about the amount of things I had to return. Love this store!"

12/20/11 Upon researching your order, I have found that the items were cancelled by our fulfillment center because it is currently out of stock. I am sorry that we did not contact you in advance with notice that this item is out of stock. When an item is cancelled before your order ships, you are not charged for that item. At Kohls.com, we do not charge your order until it ships. The revised total of $0 was charged to your account.
