"I ordered these direct instead of Amazon. I figured if a return or problem came up, it was better and easier to go to the direct company than amazon. They had the same price and shipping as amazon as well. Might as well give all the money to the company, instead of them having to pay amazon a % of the purchases.
The item quality is awesome. Very heavy duty product, with solid construction. Easy to assenble as well. Took about 10 minutes each.
Seats raise and lower by rotating the seat itself on the post. You can lock them in place with a adjustable counter rotating lever. Very simple and it works better than hydraulics.
Make sure you put felt or other padding under the feet, as they're cast iron and will scratch your floors if not careful.
They're heavy. SO if you're a lightweight, these will be a chore to move around.
Very sturdy too, even at almost the maximum height.
The seat is an exact replica of an old tractor seat, as on the old Ford's or Fergueson tractors or on tobacco setters. But these are heavier as they're cast iron instead of steel. They are contoured as the old seats are. "
"Arrived as planned. Built as well or better than others. A little harder to set and bait then another I used but the adjustable sensitivity for the trip plate is better and the door spring configuration kept the pesky critter from escaping ( other one I tried was unsuccessful in keeping them contained. They kept getting out) Used first night and it trapped a Ferrell cat. Overall, I do believe this is a better trap and if you need it, a second smaller trap was included for smaller pesky critters and the price is much cheaper that others. Thumbs Up. "
