Very happy with the items I received. Unhappy with the communication or lack thereof.

"I have ordered several times from LA Police Gear and have been very satisfied with the availability products and prices. However, there should be some fine tweaking done to the site. Clicked on an item size and color option, displayed that it is "In Stock" yet while processing the order, it said it is on back order. So I tried calling and could never get through because the wait to get to someone is infinite it seems. Then the order was updated twice due to misunderstanding but I finally got the order and it was correct. What is "in stock" is not accurate. "

Have Items Listed and aren't marked backed ordered.

"I bought 5 things. Two of the things I really wanted and the other three things were just filler items. The 2 things that I wanted were a baton and molle quick connects. The baton and molle were not listed as back ordered. About 5 days later I got an email saying 3 items had shipped but the two had not.

A week later it asks if I want a refund on the 2 items or if I want to wait. It has been over 2 months and the items have still not showed up. I will NEVER order from them again!

Absolutely Pathetic

"Wow is the customer service here shameful.

I placed an order Sunday. I got an email the next day, Monday, saying the order would be cancelled within 2 days if I don't reply back because my shipping and billing addresses are different.

I replied back immediately. The auto reply says they won't get back to you for 3-4 days... How's that coincide with the 2 days I have to reply? It means my order will be auto cancelled because you dummies are so slow to reply.

Too easy. I call in the same day, wait an hour on hold, and speak to a representative to get this sorted out. I also tell her to remove any backordered items on my order to ensure this ships out ASAP. She says no problem, I also email her an authorization saying the billing and shipping address differences are no problem. She says I'm good to go.

I wait all week until Friday. My order still says "Preparing for shipment". Why? I call in and wait another hour on hold for another representative to tell me my order was cancelled by the first rep. How is this possible? I emailed and spoke to you dummies on the phone. I was told I was good to go. And how is your system so backwards that an order is cancelled for no reason, and your site still shows "Preparing for shipment".

People who deploy don't have time for games. We are on set schedules. Now I'm about to deploy to the middle east and I am gearless because of these morons.

Save your time and money. Please shop elsewhere.

As expected

"Shopping experience was as usual for online retailers. Shipping/receiving was good. Purchased Blackhawk pants. Elastic waste is a nice touch though a bit on the short side even for a shorter person such as myself. Unfortunately will have to get alterations to lengthen the pant leg...that's sole reason for lost star. Otherwise would have been 4/5."

Terrible customer service

"I placed an order, paid extra for 2 day shipping. I got it 10 days later , with no refund if my “express” shipping cost. I called when it was originally delayed and was placed on 2 hour hold , I waited and when I got through it said we are closed. I sent multiple emails, and have yet to receive a response from the company . Overall miserable experience, and several people I work with had the same problem in that time frame."
