"Wrong Cleaning Care Tag Attached to Our Duvet - Now Ruined with No Response from Lilysilk

We purchased the double silk duvet set and washed them using the instructions on the care tag. The duvets shrunk considerably and are now essentially ruined as they won't fit in the duvet cover. Once this happened, we went back to the tag to see what we did wrong. And we see that THEY PUT THE WRONG CARE TAG ON OUR DUVET! Looks like they put the sheets tag on our duvet. We went to the website only to find out that the duvets must be dry cleaned only. Well, by following their instructions, our duvets are ruined.

I saw all the great feedback about their customer service and told my wife to just email them with pictures of the wrong tag and I was sure they would make it right and take care of us with a replacement. Plus, we only had the set for 8-9 months, this is when we first decided to wash them (they were in a duvet cover so didn't need it sooner).

With great surprise, Lilysilk chose to ignore us completely. They have not responded to any request about an error they made with putting the wrong tag on our duvet. Now we are out a ton of money.

I think they have great products, which is too bad they did not stand by their mistake. There will be a lot of positive reviews since they do have high quality linens and duvets - unfortunately, we got screwed. And we really loved the duvets.

Just be aware they won't do the right thing and not as customer friendly as you will be led to be believe. Never going back and would not recommend."

"I accidentally ordered the wrong sheet. It was a gift, so even though the order was placed on 11/23/14, the reciever of the sheet didn't open the package until Christmas. Then, it took a while before she could get it to me so that I could print a return form. The item was returned in early January. I've waited and waited and finally inquired to Lilysilk yesterday. Granted it was Sunday but today all I have is an acknowledgement email. No phone call. Nothing. This is an expensive item. I also noticed (after ordering) that for a full refund, one has to return the item within 14 days! This is unheard of in online stores. In my particular situation, I sure hope I'm not out $100. I'm willing to take a credit. "

"LilySilk is AWESOME! Their customer service is Excellent and when I thought I had paid twice, I emailed the error. They emailed me back and voided Both transactions and requested I try again. I did, and this time it worked Wonderfully! I received my order in literally 2 business days (4 total days)! When I received my silk comforter cover, I was over the moon at how beautiful it is! I put it directly on the bed and have been luxuriating in my LilySilk ever since! I will definitely use this company again! They Rock!"
