"La Petite Academy is a fantastic daycare center. The teachers truly care for the children. My son has multiple allergies and his teacher has taken great care in learning about his allergies, being mindful of them, while still ensuring that he feels included during meal times. The one issue is the price. We pay nearly $550/week, about the same as our mortgage. Our son has attended the daycare for about a year and they have already had two price increases during that time. We put up with the prices due to my child's medical issues, but if your child does not have such issues, I'm not sure it's really worth the price. While the teachers are loving and the cameras are great, after this most recent price hike, I'm not sure it's worth the cost."
"Mediocre at best. Major flaws were ignored when Ms. Bambi and her generation of teachers were there and when Essie was an assistant director - but I now do not felt heard and I do not feel that there is concern for my child’s well being. Why the district manager has zero control over Katara and her widely known issues with managing president he center, I have no idea. You would think it would be the district managers job to make sure her staff is following procedure and taking matters (I.e., a child ending up in the ER after being in pain and neglected for 8 hours) quite seriously… but after we spoke with Kelly, katara NEVER did what Kelly said would happen. Katara either doesn’t listen and should be fired or Kelly has zero control over her employees actions… either way - something is way off!"
"We have had a fantastic experience in the infant classroom over the past 6 months. The teachers are kind, attentive, and caring to all of the students and our child has progressed every week, thanks to their help and guidance."

"Overall we have had a good experience. We'd like to see the school re-evaluate their mask policy and make it optional, especially for the younger kids. I have seen the children in the pre-school class and the mask wearing is not consistent and often times not worn appropriately. We understand the school is using a layererd prevention strategy, but we'd like for them to look further into the masks and their effectiveness for small children (i.e. the 3 year olds). Many other daycare centers in the area have gone to an optional mask policy."
"Really love everyone we've interacted with-- love that everyone knows who Hughie is and care about him and his development. Super communicative around any incidents and questions I've had. We've been waiting to get into the Alexandria location since enrollment at Springfield (because of proximity to our home) and everyone has been wonderful in helping to figure out the transition."
"The management at this location is the best! I have had my kids at one other LaPetite location and removed them because of management’s responses to different issues and concerns. Management at this location always responds very well to issues raised by parents. They listen, respond and follow up. They are professional and show care for the kids, even though they may not directly work with them all of the time."
"We have been in the infant room at La Petite Springfield for just over a month now and we have loved our experience so far. As a first-time parent, it can be difficult to be away my son all day, but LPA makes it so much easier. The love and attention the staff has for its students is abundantly clear and it's reflected in my son's demeanor everyday. The teachers are very communicative throughout the day. They keep us updated on his sleeping, eating and diaper changes, which is especially important for infants since they cannot tell us when something's wrong. The other day, my son was constipated and the teachers noted it in the app. I was able to pickup prune juice on my way home, and the next day, the teachers let us know that it had worked! Simple communications like this make my job as a parent so much easier. There is no sugarcoating it... LPA is extremely expensive. But it's been worth the peace of mind it provides us."

"I love the teachers! They have all be so amazing over the years with both of my kids! They’re warm and kind and you know they’re being taken care of when we drop the kids off. We just wish the covid protocols were better. It’s not fair for us to pay half price for a service we are not getting. It is one thing if we were on vacation or our child was sick paying 1/2 price is great but when they close the classroom from a sick kid and our kids are fine, they’re home and i still have to work. I then I have to pay someone else to watch my daughter while still paying la petite 1/2 price and that is unacceptable. We just can’t afford what the school is doing to us."
