"Generally, it seems like a decent enough school. My children's teachers at least give the appearance of being warm, patient and caring. It's obviously hard to say what goes on after the parents leave. I know I've heard yelling and words out of the mouths of other class's teachers that have made me wonder if/what my children's teachers say when I'm not there. That concerns me a bit. I do very much appreciate the photos and the updates that are provided via Brightwheel but, sometimes, the information is clearly copy/pasted and not accurate. For instance, they will write that my child ate some of his meal and then tell me at pickup that he didn't eat at all. Similarly, they'll write in Brightwheel that my child napped and then, when I ask at pickup, they'll say he did not nap. I think the tuition is high and was appalled that the school tried to charge us $100 per semester per child for a required workbook. Should that not be part of our already high tuition?! Enough parents must have said something because the price was then reduced but not by much."

"The cost to attend the school full time is not cheap. It’s very frustrating that any unique program offered for children comes at an additional cost (i.e. summer program, yoga, Spanish class). These sould be standard as part of the curriculum, especially given how much parents pay. Add to the fact that annual tuition is $300 a year for children already enrolled yet I’ve seen little to no improvements made in the facility. I would like to not be nickled and dimed at every corner. Looking forward to seeing no changes over the next year despite providing this feedback."

"Great experience. We had a few communication issues in the beginning, but they were worked out very quickly. The teachers worked diligently to ensure that they were meeting our expectations regarding the care of our infant. This is the third daycare that our older son has attended. The last daycare was not a positive and nurturing environment. Our son was very happy as soon he started at LPA. He blossomed at this school. The teachers for both of our sons seem to be genuinely interested in our children. Overall a great school and would recommend it to others!"

"Remind evening staff that some of the children are still potty training. When classrooms are consolidated, potty trainers need a little extra attention regarding bathroom use and diaper changes."

"La Petite Academy is part of our village and we are so happy that they are there to help us raise inquisitive, intelligent, compassionate, active, and happy children. The teachers and staff are top-rate, and it is clear they love nurturing young children. The school has a great balance of long-term employees/teachers as well as recent graduates pursuing careers in early childhood development and education. The balance of love and care the teachers and staff provide alongside a structured curriculum and appropriate boundaries reinforces what our kids are learning from us at home, and what our school-age child is learning in elementary school. We feel so fortunate to have LPA helping us care for our little ones."

"I like most things about this school, however I feel like some of the afternoon teachers are not as involved as morning teachers. Several cuts and scrapes on my daughter she says from outside ( one she said another kid head butted her) but none of the teachers ever know what happened. another note my daughter is always thirsty when I pick her up."

"My daughter's two-year old teachers are fantastic. They greet her every day and make her feel welcome into the classroom. This was especially important when she moved into the Twos room. My daughter continues to have a great relationship with her teachers (one in particular) and is excited to see them in the morning. I think, as a parent, this is probably the most meaningful experience I've had with La Petite. They make the kids feel welcome, they are excited to see the kids and that can make such a difference."
