"I bought the KS524AA HP laptop battery for my HP dv5t-1000 from Laptop Battery One, via Amazon, after research identifying the correct battery.

It doesn't get charged at all. It already held some 75% charge when it arrived and I can use my laptop without AC supply, but it never charged when connected to the AC supply. The laptop show it as charging but the charge doesn't increase at all.

Also it doesn't fit right on my laptop. It juts out of the slot and keeps falling off when I try moving the laptop.

Seems like I have to buy the original one after all."
