"I bought a screen from these guys. I got it and was working fine. About 1 week of using, it quit working. I paid to have it sent back to them. They sent me a note a said it was working fine. They said my video cable was bad. I paid to have it sent back to me. So now I have money shipping it to them and back again. I installed it and turned on the screen and it was damaged. They asked me to send pics of the screen and shipping box. The screen was cracked. The shipping box had no apparent damage to it so I am assuming they broke it before they sent it back to get a shipping credit from USPS. They sent me a new screen at no charge. Amazingly the new screen was working just fine. And I did not have to replace my video cable. I hope they are not taking advantage of USPS!"

Turns out my specific laptop (as are many laptops) can be equipped with a number of different screens; the part number of the screen is very helpful (as I found out) in ordering the correct replacement (but you have to take the screen out of the laptop to get the model number). The laptopscreen.com website is very helpful in identifying the correct screen replacement. but the variety of screen replacements, even for a specific model number laptop, can make the process confusing. Anyway, after I realized I had the wrong screen the first time, laptopscreen.com was very helpful and quick about processing the return.
