"Tech came out today. Was told to use right gate to yard. He called and said the dogs were in yard. I said I will come and he said he would have to charge me by the hour to wait. I said no problem. I got there in 15 minutes. He was gone. He was trying to access the yard through the dog run on the LEFT side of the house. He was at my home 2 weeks ago and already knows to go through the right gate. I lost an hour of my day because this. Add insult to injury. He left a note on my front door that I missed the appointment, NEXT to the note that says use the RIGHT side gate. Effing cannot make this up. Then I call 1-800 LESLIES to see if I can find him. Automated phone system was the worst single experience I have ever encountered.
I am a premium Leslie's customer. I have spent +$3000 there just this year. No more. I will never use Leslie's again. Go to Costco for your chemicals, use an independent pool company for service. Leslie's is a complete and utter failure as a company that hires idiots."
"Went in the store to place a pool order on june 9th because they told me it was in stock and would be shipped out in 48 hrs then i went on to track my order after calling several times i was given all different reasons why it was saying it was still be prepared to ship so i called retail complaints about the store someone named amanda had a district manager Mike coleman call me well he did and said he was going to check into it and get back to me well 4 days later i still have not heard from him he dont answer or call me back finnaly today i decided to cancel my order and someone from retail office said she was going to check into it them a few hrs later i get a email saying my pool is out of stock so where did my pool go then customer service says mines there and shipping on the 30th so i dont know if im getting it on the 30th or not after reading reviews i just want to cancel it never again will i order from them they are horrible "
"I ordered a pump from leslies on 5/10 that was labeled as 2 in stock and ready and that I would receive it before 5/20. on 5/18 having not received tracking information yet, I contacted them, and they told me that due to how busy they were that the pump would actually ship on 5/20. Ok, fine a few days late with all that is going on in the world is understandable. Now its 5/21, still no updated tracking so I contacted again, this time they said it would be shipped that same day and to wait until morning that I would see tracking on the site. Ughhh, fine. 5/22 comes and goes and I had no time to check on the site for shipping updates, so I hop on the morning of 5/23 still nothing... Time to contact leslie's again, this time they are telling me that I will receive the pump absolutely by 6/10, that the manufacturer is responsible for shipping this particular product, see what they did there? They shifted the blame, here comes a pattern... A couple days (evening of 6/8) before my "guaranteed" arrival on 6/10 I check the site to see if they have finally updated the tracking... NOPE, they have not updated tracking, contact them again to see what's up. This time they say that the UPS truck could not be pick up my order? (What kind of blame shifting excuse is that?) And they can't provide any other information. At this point I just want to remind you that this pump was "in stock" on 5/10 and "ready to ship" and only needed a label slapped on the box. Finally, its 6/10 the day my pump is "guaranteed" to arrive. At this point I am praying that it just shows up as their site still states pending shipment. I end up going onto bank's website for unrelated reasons to discover that Leslie's charged my card on 6/8 for the pump... hmmm, maybe it will show up on 6/10. Nope! about 8pm that night I am back asking Leslie's what's up and they are telling me they do not know anything and they will escalate the problem (LOL, what a joke of a company) I continue to ask them, so why was it that they charged my credit card if they have no information on the progress of my order, their statement was that it was a temporary hold since shipment was pending. I told them according to Chase Bank, it is an actual charge, to which they said Chase must have made a mistake and ran it as a charge instead of a temporary hold. So that's 3 times they have now shifted the blame onto others(Polaris, UPS and Chase) 5 more days have now elapsed and I contacted them again and the only answer I can get out of them is that the charge that is on my credit card bill is a temporary hold and that the order has been escalated to another department. According to Leslie's Chase is just asking me to pay for this pump by accident. A brief delay is understandable. A valid excuse is understandable. At this point I do not trust Leslie's and I recommend you avoid a shady business such as Leslie's."
"This review deserves a NEGATIVE 0 Review..If you intend on getting your item then don't purchase online. Leslie claims my $2,000 pool was shipped but yet the freight company has no records of even picking up my pool. The freight company is wanting documentation on where the driver signed off on my pool when he picked it up from the warehouse, but Leslie's can seem to provide that information either. They provided me with a fake tracking number. The freight company says they don't have any records of my pool being picked up or have an order for a future pick up. There are no records of anything that is suppose to be shipped to my address. Customer service keeps telling me that my pool is on it's way. One even told me that the tracking number they provided me was a temporary which is ridiculous because I contacted the freight company and there is no such this as a temporary tracking number. The lies..the Lies..The Lies. This company should be shut down for stealing from their. So I' out of money and a pool. Will just have to dispute this with my credit card company..What a scam! Read their 1 Star reviews online and believe them..I wished I had read the reviews prior to my purchase. "Placed an online order for same day pickup at local store where everything was supposed to be in-stock at the store. Never got a notification that order was ready, went to store was told they cant access online order system and they didn't get a notification of the order. They told me they cant cancel and I have to contact the corporate office to cancel. Holiday weekend, 4 days pass, still no notification. Contact the corporate office and they refuse to cancel. They say we shipped stuff to store and it will be there today, you have to go to store to cancel. 3 days later and store doesn't have and corporate office refuses to refund money. Absolute worst customer service and online ordering experience I have ever had. This isn't even up to 1995 standards. If you like gambling with a chance of loosing your money. Place an online order. "
"I ordered a Hayward Multi-Valve to complete our pool upgrade. Ordered from Leslie's online as they had it in stock and paid for expedited 2 day delivery since we had a plumber scheduled. Valve never arrived and after calling their "Customer Service" was told that it shipped but they would refund the expedited shipping fee. 10 days later the valve online store shows "Preparing to Ship" for over 10 days. I tried to cancel and their online chat person said I could not cancel the order. Ordered from Amazon and received the valve in 2 days and had to schedule a second visit from the plumber to complete the installation. Still no valve from Leslie's and they won't let me cancel my order that has never shipped. I will have to stop payment on my credit card. Terrible company. "
"Bought an outdoor filter timer and it lasted just over 30 days. Staff said Ahhhh too bad....been over thirty days. Go talk with manufacturer. Wow. "ordered online while they had supply. said I could pick up today (Sunday). called at 12:30 (they open at 11am) to make sure they were open. Cashier told me they were open, but they were out of chlorine tablets. I told her I ordered, paid, and had my receipt that said I could pick up today. She said sorry, but she hadn't received the order yet and people had walked in off the street and she sold to them. I am LIVID! They have my money, told me I had the tablets and then, because their computer system is obviously OUTDATED the order didn't arrive at the store - (I ordered at 10pm Saturday evening), she sold what I had already purchased to someone else. I placed an order of swimming pool basket but for some reason, I don't like it so returned it.
It's been 18 days since I returned the item but didn't receive my money back so I called 800 numbers, customer service.
They have no ideas what's going on. Plus, all the customer service reps. are located overseas, the Philippines, hardly understand what they're talking about. I totally wasted my valuable time dealing with this terrible company. Won't use them again.

"ordered a standard hot tub cover on march 20th after 5 weeks and no cover delivered i called and they said it takes 4-5 weeks in production. I called back every week for a total of 5 calls and it was not until the 5th call that they told me they lost my order and there was nothing they could do.

Any time I check the progress, the 'estimated' shipping date is changed to one week away! Don't know if I will ever receive this. Customer service is not helpful at all. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

"I purchased a heater for Leslie’s.com and it came via freight carrier. The carrier shows up with a pallet Jack and drops the heater in our garage and starts demanding I sign paperwork so he can finish his route. After completing my work call I open the box and find it is crushed and not safe to install. I was told a return would be processed. Inorder to keep my service slot I had the installer pickup a new heater from the local store and install it that day. In the evening I get an email claiming it is ineligible for return and that they wanted to give me a$50 discount and mail me parts to repair it! Oh yeah, no more warranty at that point either. Now, I have a newly installed heater, a damaged heater in my garage that they claim is my problem, and no path to resolve it.
DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE DOLLAR WITH LESLIES! They do not care about the customer at all!"
"We had Leslie's Pool Service come out to look at our leaking sand pool filter. They told us the filter was cracked at the bottom and would need to be replaced. We had them replace the filter and asked for ZeroLite sand for better filtration. They installed the filter after several calls and it wouldn't clean the pool. We called multiple times, but could not reach anyone (Covid had just hit so we thought that was the problem), but we kept trying since there was a limited warranty. We finally got them to come out and they said the new filter was installed wrong and cracked as a result so they replaced it (it took over a month for them to replace the filter once they said they would). The replacement filter also does not work. It spits sand back into the pool, and the sand is regular sand ... not the ZeroLite we paid for. No longer able to reach Leslie's and the warranty has expired. Now we need to spend more money for another brand new filter. Don't waste your money, this company only cares about being paid multiple times for the same job and don't care if the job is ever done correctly."
