"I ordered two L8T Dell Latitude D630 Batteries. One of the two batteries did not fit onto my Dell D630, the other fit fine. Examination of the battery proved that it was slightly physically different from a Dell factory battery. I returned the non-fitting battery to Level 8 (at my own shipping expense). Level 8 claimed that it fit their laptop, and sent me a new battery. This battery BARELY fit onto my D630, requiring some jamming to fit. Additionally, the laptop required a power cord to start up, although it would run from battery if the cord was disconnected. Level 8 did not reimburse my shipping costs."

"Very disappointed. I purchased an AC adapter for my Dell laptop from Level 8 one year and six weeks ago. Last week, the adapter plug that fits into my laptop began to fail. If I moved my laptop, I lost AC power. For a while, I could wiggle the plug and it would work again. Thinking it was something inside my laptop, I tried the original adapter (which I still had in another location). The original adapter works just fine. The original plug fits more snuggly, making me think the Level 8 adapter isn't built to the same spec. I called Level 8, and they showed no interest in my problem or the faulty adapter. I was 6 weeks outside warranty. The only offer was free shipping on a new adapter. (How insulting is this, as I didn't even pay shipping on my original order?) I asked (twice) to speak to the service person's manager, and was told the manager would just tell me the same thing. Terrible customer service. I told them they just lost a customer. And, by the way, the Level 8 adapter doesn't work at all now.

"Purchased replacement battery for my Inspiron 700m and was told by sales representative that replacement battery is the same quality as the original Dell battery which lasted 3+ years. This battery did not even last 1 year before dying on me. Unfortunately, I procrastinated and called after the warranty to see if anything could be done. When I called and spoke to the customer service rep, he said it was out of warranty. I asked him if the battery should have lasted longer than this and he said that his Dell replacement battery lasted longer than his original battery. Stay away from this company...batteries purchased here are NOT of the same quality and it appears that customer service is severely lacking. I am an IT professional for a major Government organization and can say I will never buy from this place again. Stay away from these guys...you are better off spending the additional money for an original replacement from the manufacturer."

"I am very dissapointed. My first complaint is that I paid for 2 day shipping and it didn't come on the second day. When I got the battery for my laptop I should have sent it back right away. Sometimes I would have to pull the cord out of the actual battery, and then plug it back in for it to work. I wasn't able to send it back in time because I went home to visit my family, and got caught in the snow. They do hasve a 30 day return policy. Right after my 30 days was up the metal piece of the battery broke off from the cord.
I'm not satisfied with the quality of the battery I bought from this company, and I don't think I will be ordering from them again, or recommending my family and friends do so either.

"I wanted to buy a replacement battery for my Dell Inspiron from a reputable company that stands behind their product.
I ordered a battery from this company and they shipped it quickly. Unfortunately, the first battery I received had a problem. The laptop would recognize it but it would not charge and the laptop cannot run on the battery. After I called customer service and explained the problem and my plans for travel, they immediately sent me a replacement one that appears to be working fine now.
This was my first purchase experience, I will order from them again.
5 stars customer service.
