"I am happy with Customer Service. "
"I ordered a battery for my Dell last year in April. By June, the battery only had 30 minutes of run time on a full charge.
I contacted customer service and received a replacement quickly and has been running great ever since.
The customer service was outstanding and I will buy from Level 8 again."
"I ordered a battery for my laptop. easy order. I got the right one. I am satisfied with the product. The price was right compared to the local stores. If I have to do it again, I will."
"I bought a laptop battery and it was shipped by UPS in 5 days. The battery works great. No problems. I'm totally satisfied and will buy from Level 8 again."
"Ordered an AC adapter for a Lenovo laptop. The adapter has been working fine. I also e-mailed customer service asking them to change the mailing name and received a response the next day.
Overall, satisfied with the purchase. Will update if the adapter fail earlier than expected."
"Sorry for the late feedback. I've been using the Apple Magsafe adapter purchased almost 2 months ago and it's been working great. At first, I thought I received a used adapter but I didn't realize that these come packaged in a clear plastic. The plastic has nicks on them making the adapter seem used. After peeling the plastics off, it looks brand spanking new. I felt like an idiot when I called customer service and was instructed to peel off the plastic. Ha Ha"
"Product quality assurance is simply bad. I bought 2 batteries for HP laptops. Two months later and I will be sending for the 3rd exchange between the 2 batteries. These junk batteries just stop charging and report failure within 2-3 weeks. I am guessing they have a load of bad batteries of this model since the battery for the Dell that bought from Level-8 has been working fine so far."
"Ordered a replacement battery for my wife's Gateway laptop almost a year ago from Level 8 based on the reviews found here about great service and straight business practices.
Found the site easy to navigate, the ordering process very easy and the prices outstanding. The battery has exceeded expectations and is performing much better than even the original battery did.
Don't hesitate to give them your business as they will take care of you. I will definitely be a repeat customer for further laptop battery purchases and have recommended friends and family to Level 8."
" I just purchased a replacement battery for my Dell E1505 (my 3rd). I was not looking forward to paying the asking price from Dell. A computer tech told me he refers his customers to Batteries Plus. I went to a Battery Plus retailer and found the prices similar to Dell. I asked the retailer why his prices were so much higher than companies online (80-90 percent). He responded, “We offer a one-year warranty and you can’t trust some of the companies online.”
I called Level 8 and spoke with someone in sales and he answered all my questions. The price of my battery was at least half the price of Dell and Battery Plus. However, what sold me on Level 8 were the customer reviews. They posted the good and bad reviews from their customers. I was especially impressed that Level 8 publically updated their actions on some of their reviews to provide a complete picture of customer service. This demonstrated to me that they read and respond to their reviews and committed to customer service. So far, I’m satisfied with my product. I will definitely suggest them to others.

"I like ordering from this company. They don't always have the lowest prices, but they're good in what they do. Their products have been reliable. The customer service has always been good. I haven't been disappointed yet whenever I did have an issue. "
"VERY DISSATISFIED -- POOR QUALITY BATTERY. I order a A1185 battery for my MacBook. I paid a premium for the Level8 battery because they advertised high quality "Sanyo" cells.
The battery life is pathetic - about half or less than the real deal. I highly doubt Sanyo cells are inside. In any case, the battery is crap. "
"Before ordering, I called customer service and the representative was very helpful and thorough in answering my questions about their return policy just in case I needed to return the battery. His demeanor was very considerate. After receiving the battery, the laptop was working properly again, so I didn't need to return it. I just like the fact that they were upfront with everything including the fact that I would lose on shipping charges if there was nothing wrong with the battery if I returned it."
"I have ordered from Level 8 Technologies a number of times and have had nothing but excellent results. I even had to return a couple of items and the return went just fine. One return was because I ordered the wrong item and they took it back without any hassles. I highly recommend these people if you're in need of a laptop battery."
"I lost $6.38 shipping on a defective model HP17 12 cell laptop battery received from Level8Technology. I also lost many hours of my time charging and discharging the defective product (4 times) in an attempt to "condition" the battery as their web site suggests.
They did pay for return shipping on the defective one. Thank you for that. But, they should have refunded my full purchase price instead of deducting the shipping that I paid. After all, I didn't pay $6.38 shipping so I could weed out a defective battery from their inventory for them.
They claimed the battery tested "ok" at their facility after they received the defective return. I have my doubts about the efficacy of their testing procedures. I actually have to wonder if they even tested the failed battery at all. Please read on to see what I mean.
In my laptop, the Level8Technology product would charge to 92% and never go higher. The laptop indicated it was charging for about 8 hours and then finally returned a Windows pop-up message saying: "Charged to 92% but charging has stopped." The run time with this Level8 12-cell battery was shorter than with my 6 cell OEM battery. I had to suspect their product was faulty because my laptop was working fine with its OEM 6 cell battery.
I still needed a 12 cell extended time battery so I purchased one from the Hewlett Packard store. They've got them on sale now for $119. (I have discovered that HP batteries have additional features that help to compensate for the additional $40 cost over they Level8 product.)
I've now got the HP 12-cell battery and it works great. It charges in about 4 hours and runs for 7 hours if I use the right power settings selected in my Windows power profile.
So, Level8Technology sent me a battery they said tested okay. It totally failed in my laptop. I bought an HP battery and it works fine in my laptop.
From my singular experience, I must infer that Level8Technology sent me a defective product and that Level8Technology either didn't actually test the battery (though they say they did) or Level8Technology has testers that do not thoroughly evaluate a battery's performance. I believe they sent me a defective product and they should have refunded the full amount including the shipping I paid. (I wonder if they turned around and resold that defective battery to someone else? They said it was "good." I know it was not.)
The HP battery, by the way cost $40 more but it's worth it. It's got a connector port so you can plug the AC adapter directly into the battery and charge the battery even while the battery is not installed in the laptop.
The HP battery also has a built-in LED indicator to tell you its state of charge. You just pick it up, press a button, and it tells you if it is 25or50or75or100% charged--even when not installed into a laptop.
Yes, I know there are many good reviews about Level8Technology here. Good luck to you all. But for those of you whose experience is similar to mine? Know that you are not alone."
"First Rate. They have an easy to use site. They have fair prices. The products are first class quality, at least as good as the Dell OEM batteries that they're replacing. They ship very fast in excellent packaging. There's no reason I can think of to consider buying replacement batteries anywhere else.
I bought two different part numbers. Both report their status exactly the same way as the Dell OEM batteries. Physically, with the exception of the printing, they are virtual twins of the originals, down to the test button operation. I'm really pleased. "
