"OMG! What a find it was finding this site! We're building a cottage totally off the grid in the backwoods of Maine. The flameless candle and lanterns are just the thing we need up there. Of course your never really sure what the quality is going to be when your just looking at them on line, but trust me, when my order came in I was amazed! The night we got them we turned all the lights off (here at home) and tried them all.....not just useful but pretty romantic too! Can't wait til the cottage is done...I'm sure I'll be ordering again!

11/30 - I ordered 2 things for a friends wedding and 1 thing for myself. This is 2 weeks before i'm flying out for the wedding. Plenty of time, right? Just in case, i add a note on the order saying please contact if it won't arrive by 12/14.

12/7 - I get an email saying: surprise! one of the items is out of stock, do you want a different color?

12/7 - I replied: yes! but I need it by 12/14 at latest.

12/10 - hadn't heard anything so emailed: Has this been sent?

12/13 - still nothing. sent urgent email: Please reply. It MUST arrive by 12/15. Has it shipped?

12/13 - got a reply: "Record shows it shipped but there are no tracking updates. The warehouse manager is going to file a claim with UPS. In the meanwhile we are expediting another order to you. You should have it by the 16th - 17th latest"

I reply: "16th would be too late! If it can't make it by the 15th, i'll either need to cancel my order or change the shipping address for some of the items.
Please call if it won't make the 15th."

got reply: "It wont make the 15th. Sorry about this. I will throw in a free holiday gift. Please forward me the new address"

12/14 - sent details on what to send where, etc. Flew to nice wedding. Told them their gift should arrive shortly.

12/22 - all items arrive at my house. Great. Emailed lamplust to inform them. They reply that:
"the warehouse got the change of address a bit too late and wanted to get the order out before the holidays.......

Happy holidays"

So many things went wrong here... And btw, the "holiday gift" mentioned, not included...

So I did not have my gift ready when i attended the wedding, inspite of ordering 2 weeks in advance. Instead I gave a card telling them to expect a package from Lamplust. Instead, had to make a final correction and ship the gift myself...
