"I received my order on 12/4/2010. Two of the candles were broken so notified the same day. Received email asking to send pics so they could file claim with delivery company. Sent pics the same night (4 views). I received replacements for the broken ones and the company did all they could to make sure I was happy with the replacements received and their service. "ordered model 33985 5 candles, battery operated. for about $60 with shipping.
Next day came across 4 candles for $20 at costco and they took 2 AA batteries each
The lamlust candles take 3 AAA batteries which cost more and dont last as long.
I tried to call lamplust to cancel my order but the phones are unmanned -the kind that send you in circles.
I was too slow to email them in time to stop the shipment so am faced with a 20% restock fee plus paying for return shipping , so I tried one of the candles. They dont flicker as softly as the costco candles, more jerky and have a distracting bright flash every now and again perhaps older flicker technology.
The costco candles, using double a batteries, claim 400 hours. while I see no claim for lamplust candles.
Since triple a rechargeable batteries only hold 700mah versus 2500mah for double a rechargeables I expect lamplust candles will last under 200 hours and tripe a batteries cost more! The costco candles are made from real wax -very realistic!
Lamplust made of plastic maybe an advantage in hot locations-(they wont melt)
both have 5 hour timer option switches which turn the candle off after 5 hours and on the next day at the same time the candle was switched on, in timer mode.
Beware that re-stock fee! wont be buying here again.
Plenty of sellers who dont charge this for returning goods.

"I ordered 4 white "flameless" battery operated candles. When they arrived they were yellowed and mismatched. I contacted customer service at Lamplust and they asked me to take a picture of the candles to send to them which I did. I asked them for replacment candles or to let me return them as they were discolored. Lamplust refused to send me replacment candles and also refused my return. I will never order from this company again. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in 20 years of ordering online. "
