"We purchased a solar lantern for our garden in March. When we went to use lantern, it didn't work. LampLust sent us replacement battery; still didn't work, so they sent us another battery; still didn't work. A series of emails have gone back and forth over last 2 months. One excuse after another why they have yet been able to either refund or exchange the lantern. 13 days ago they said they would send a return label so we could return and they could inspect the product and "determine" if the product is faulty, really, peeps? The return label hasn't arrived yet. I mean why not email a label? Or provide one in the package; most of the vendors provide this with an order for easy return/exchange. So,sent yet another email this evening. That's the other issue, we have had to initiate every contact to resolve the issue. It's like I had to take on a baby-sitting job monitoring the progress. A week or so would go by and I'd realize still no response; so send another email; I even asked if their business model was built on customer default; meaning the customer would give up and LampLust would keep the money and add to their bottom line. I don't understand why LampLust wouldn't want to take care of their customer's defective purchase. We do a great deal of shopping on-line and this is our worst experience with an Internet vendor. We get it, sometimes you get a defective product. What we don't get is the delay and their neglect to take care of the issue. Our impression is this is more deliberate than just poor service. Its just gone on for too long. It's mid-August now, fall around the corner and we never did get to use the Lantern over the summer. We wont shop with LampLust and I'm sure they will be glad to be rid of us, too. We have had nothing postive to say to them or about them. You are probably a pretty savvy on-line shopper, so will leave it to you if you want to risk having a similar experience shopping with LampLust. We aren't bashing the organization, rather sharing our experience--disappointing customer service, with a hint of maliciousness. What other business reason could there be? They seem to have a pretty good customer rating and following. What has failed this time around in your organization, LampLust? We really don't want a response to that question. We aren't interested in your internal problems. "
