then i read these reviews. i then became apprehensive about my order. when i thought my oder should have arrived. i called singer on line. they said the order was shipped on thursday. i then thought it would arrive saturday. it didn't. i was going to wait till monday before i called again. it did not.i didn't consider the labor day holiday. it arrived on tuesday. on wednesday i called to get technical help in repairing my machine. i was walked through the repair and within an hour, my machine was repaired. unlike other customers on this post, i thought the service was excellent. my calls were answered every time i made them. i would reorder again."
"I'm having the same experience as nearly everyone else on here. The person who left the nice review must be a friend of theirs or something. I ordered a sewing machine foot on 6/30. It's 7/23 and it still hasn't even shipped. I have called them twice and left voicemails and emailed them 5 times and have not received a single response from a real person. I just checked the BBB website and sure enough, they have an F rating. I'm going to have to file a claim with paypal, I guess. Wish I had checked them out before I gave them my money!
UPDATE on 8/13/13: I filed a complaint with the BBB and the business failed to respond. I emailed the BBB asking if there was anything more I could do. Meanwhile, I called paypal to see if I could still get my money back. It was the last day I could file a claim with them (they make you do it within 45 days) so I did. I ended up getting my refund. The BBB called this business AGAIN and the business told them I already got my refund (as if I didn't have to file a claim with paypal in order to do it). They also claimed to have no record of me ever complaining, which is funny since in addition to my numerous calls and emails, the BBB also sent them complaints in writing on my behalf. So ridiculous..."
"By far the absolute worst experience I have ever had in 15 years of online shopping. Ordered an item on June 20th,chose Priority shipping, got a confirmation email, order status was never updated, I've sent 3 emails and have not received any replies. I called them (International) and was told it would be posted "We were out of that item and will post in the next 2 days", ok well why couldn't they tell me that in an email?! So I waited and checked the order status for a week, still nothing, sent another email, no reply, so I put a dispute in with PayPal. I got an email that the item had been sent by normal shipping, not what I requested on the order! 10 days and still nothing. I will put another dispute in with Paypal soon.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, it will cause you nothing but frustration, money in phone calls, and your time trying to chase up the order. They couldn't care less about proper business practices."
