"I just received the bedroom furniture I ordered from Living in Comfort . What a wonderful experience! My furniture arrived in less than a week from the time I ordered it and everything was exactly as it appeared on the website. When I couldn't find a specific shelf that I wanted, the person I spoke to emailed me a list of over 20 shelves that matched what I was looking for- with the dimensions and the colors. I would definitely use this website again, the prices could not be beat and the service was fantastic. "
"Very disappointed with LivingInComfort.com. I ordered a pet gate through them with 4 extensions so my new puppy arriving in 4 weeks wouldn't have run of the house. The website said 'Fast Shipping - 1-2 Weeks', so I placed my order, and after 10 days of checking my credit card and not seeing a charge, I got worried and wrote them an email. They simply said that my item was out of stock and that they'll charge me and ship it when it comes in stock. There was no indication of this on their website, and I desperately needed this gate. I wrote back and said, "Well, can I get an estimate of it's delivery, because if not by my puppy's arrival, then I need to cancel my order." I got an email back saying "Sorry, we won't have it in time for you. We're canceling your order." Sure the customer service may have responded quickly, but still didn't help me get a gate in time for my new puppy. If I wouldn't have followed up with them, it would have been too late and I'd be scrambling last minute. I won't be shopping online with LivingInComfort.com anymore."

I ordered split Cal King sheets. It arrived in a timely manner BUT:
The sheets are the wrong size. They should fit a 36" wide by 82 "long mattress but is much too narrow although the length was correct
The website` said it would be for up to 18" deep and it only fits up to 11" .
It came with King pillowcases and the website said Standard.
I have no receipt for the payment by credit card on-line or in the box.
There was no packing slip or any information that came with the packaged sheets in the box.
Please give me a full refund, I don't want a replacment. This is obviously a poorly made product with NO quality control in Pakaistan where they are made or at LIC and all for $199 for a set of sheets. I hope this is a reputable company. So far- not so good.

i RECEIVED AN APOLOGY , THERE WILL BE A FULL REFUND AND THE SHIPPING COMPANY WILL PICK UP THE BOX AT MY HOME. IN ADDITION, THEY WILL TAKE THE TIME TO FULLY INVESTIGATE THE OCCURRENCE SO THAT IT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. LIC STATES THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND THEY HAVE SOLD MANY OF THE SAME SHEETS FROM THE SAME COMPANY IN THE PAST

"I purchased a King, 4 inch, 5 lb. memory foam mattress topper from Living In Comfort. When it arrived, it felt less dense than I expected. After doing a little reading (http://www.memoryfoam.com/v/calc.html)I learned that one can calculate the density of memory foam by dividing the weight by the volume (http://www.memoryfoam.com/v/calc.html). I did the calculation based on my weighing of the topper and the FedEx weight (both about 45 pounds). The density came out to 3 lbs, not 5. I've emailed them twice, but typical of this reseller, they haven't responded, and don't provide a phone number. Not sure how they will resolve this apparent fraud, but I'm prepared to go to our Attorney Generals office ( they are in my state of Maryland) if needed. I'd stay away from them at all cost. I will keep you posted."
"I had purchased the svan high chair on 06/21/2009 after I found out that living in comfort was offering 10% discount with free shipping and no tax. I received the confirmation of the order right away and my credit card was charged immediately as well. When I did not receive a tracking number, I began e-mailing customer service regularly receiving sporadic responses with statements such as "we contacted manufacturer and they will be shipping the order shortly". Well, it's a month and a half later and still no high chair. The last e-mail said that we should be getting it next Monday or Tuesday but when I e-mailed back requesting a tracking number I have yet to receive a response. So far, my experience has not been favorable. They do not have phone customer service and the e-mails do not always get prompt responses. I want to believe that my high chair will arrive next week but I have received similar e-mails before and still no chair. After reading other comments it became apparent that I should have researched the company before making the purchase. At this point I am just about ready to cancel the order altogether unless I receive immediate proof that the product is en route. I am still awaiting response to my last e-mail from this mornig."

My child is so NOT HAPPY! He keeps asking where his car is. These people care less about customers. I should call my credit card company and have them reverse the charge and go elsewhere!

"I also wish I had read reviews of LIC prior to ordering... TERRIBLE! I ordered a Softride bike rack on 6/4/09 with debit card and quickly got order confirmation number. Funds were debited from my account 6/8
One week, no shipment... Two weeks, no shipment... I submitted my request on the LIC website 6/15 to ask where my rack was!? I got an auto generated e-mail saying "Your email is very important to us. We work hard to respond to all emails within 24 hours (Monday - Friday)." NO RESPONSE
One more week goes by and we are going on vacation and need the rack. I tried calling 800 number and got machine saying to send e-mail to "****@****", which I did on 6/22. Because I needed the rack that week, I stated that I would be contacting my bank the next business day if I did not receive response. I got the same auto e-mail about how I am important to them... NO RESPONSE!
I called bank on 6/23 and they are going after the money. Just to follow up, I sent a third e-mail to LIC formally telling them to cancel the order, as bank was refunding my money.
Still no response... after getting back from vaca, I got an e-mail that my order had shipped, and it finally arrived July 8, 5 weeks after order. Now what do I do with it?
Ridiculous - run, don't walk from this company."

I ordered a double jogging stroller from them and they answered a couple questions I had about the product very clearly on the phone. I also received the order within about 4 days of placing the order online. The price was also really reasonable compared to other websites. This is the second time I've ordered something from them (also previously ordered a kettler tricycle) and will surely do so again!"

"I ordered a item number MM11846 which is a BedLounge Back Rest & Reading Pillow by Cequal on 4/10/2009. The website said shipping in 1 to 2 days, and I've not received the item yet. My credit card was charged at the time. I've now sent them a total of 6 emails, and no reply. I've called the phone number, and only get a recording. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. They take your money, keep the product, and don't return emails! If you can't keep up with your email, then answer the phone!!

Ok, so now after writing this review, I get my first email from LIC stating that the product has been discontinued by the manufacturer and they refunded my money. Cequal has not discontinued the item, I have already checked. I'd love to see how they refunded my money, as I cancelled this credit card early last week.
This is in response to LIC's response. I did receive the credit, but your are not a reputable company. You lie blatantly lie, and as Clark Howard would say are a "NO Customer Service" Company. In your email to me you said that the manufacturer had discontinued the item, not that you no longer carried it. Big difference, since I was able to buy the item off the manufacturers website. As of this morning, you are still offering the same item for sale on your website! That is out and out fraud!"
