"They said my shoes would ship in 10 days but it actually took over a month. The shoes were 2 sizes too small. They said they would ship a new pair in 10 days but the return slip they sent said they still don't have them in stock. Despite several emails they never refunded my credit card. After about 3 months of emails and phone calls they finally got around to giving me a refund. "

"I placed my order at the MyShoeStore.com sight. My credit card was billed immediately and the next day I recieved an e-mail that my order would be shipped within 10 business days. I e-mailed them on the morning of the 8th day, today is the 10th day and I recieved an e-mail stating that "They are out of store and had to be ordered." The plan is to ship them sometime next week if they come in. My 6th sense kicked in since the e-mail was from Lord John's Footwear and that name did not appear anywhere on my purchase conformation e-mail. I plan to cancel my order as soon as I finish this rating. This is my first time ordering on line and it is NOT A GOOD ONE!"

"I had a similar, very dissatifying experience with this online merchant. My order was placed on June 3rd. Receiving no email confirmation or shoes by June 21st, I placed three phone calls to customer service - each time the number was not in service. Three email requests resulted in one email response that the order would arrive with no details and the response was badly misspelled. No shoes and no service - who needs it! Needless to say, my credit card was billed on the day that the order was placed... I disputed the billing and have had the purchase removed but I would warn everyone to stay clear of this company!"

"I wish I had read these reviews prior to me ordering as, now, I feel like I'm reading exactly what happened with me. I placed an order on 4/11 and have yet to receive the shoes. I e-mailed their customer service department on April 27, requesting the status of the shoes. No one, to date, has responded to that e-mail. When I received my credit card statement on April 28 and noticed I had already been charged for the shoes, I called the store. I briefly spoke with someone (a girl) who, after identifying what I ordered, put me on hold and then didn't return! I tried, in vain, for the next 1 1/2 hours to call back but the line was constantly busy. It finally rang after 5 PM (EST) but, after ringing 10 times, would automatically hang up on me. I called the credit card company immediately, explained the story, disputed the charge and they removed it from my bill. To date, I still (a) have not received the shoes and (b) not received a response to my e-mail. I, too, will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and, perhaps, the NY state Attorney General's office. I have never had this problem with any other site from which I purchase. Try Zappos or OnlineShoes. Prices are good, free shipping and delivery within a week."

"I placed an order on April 15 and have yet to recieve an email telling me that the order shipped, although my credit card was charged immediately. I have tried to call their customer service number (during their stated hours of business for that department) and the phone is constantly busy. I have sent emails asking about teh status of my order and none of them have been answered. My last email this morning was to cancel the order. I will also be contacting my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau."

"I placed my first order with Lord John's Footwear on 4-16-05. On numerous occasions I contacted them to find out the status of my order. I was assured that it was in process and this would take 10 business days. Finally 2 weeks after placing my order, and after insisting that someone check to make sure my order would go out, I was told that these shoes were not in stock. I shop mainly online, and never has it taken this long to process an order. The attitude with this company is "too bad". Never again. I will shop as in the past, with Zappo's, free shipping and at my door in 3 days at the most."

"Purchased and my CC was charged on 2/10/05 for a pair of shoes. On 2/23/05 still no shipping confirmation or any news. I called to cancel my order but no one answered the phone. Called a second time the next day and luckily I was able to get a hold of someone to cancel my order.

I wouldn't purchase anything from these guys unless you're willing to wait 3 weeks or longer for your shoes as they give you the good old "10 business days" before we ship your shoes, even though they charge your credit card from day one.

Update: I cancelled my order on 2/23 and as of today 3/4 I haven't got my refund on my CC to show up. That's 10 business days. Only goes to show how horrible these peoples service is. Avoid them like the plague.

Final Update: on 3/10 I contacted the CS and was told that they had just credit me back on 3/8 and I should see it with in a few days. I FINALLY got my refund back on 3/11. So it took them a good month to send me no shoes and refund my money. Don't say you were not warned about this company. Good luck, you'll need it.
