"When I purchased a Lorex Wireless Home Monitoring System I was not sure what to expect. The viewing monitor was rather small and it only came with one camera. Well, I was impressed with the quality of that camera and it's mounting hardware. For me installation was fairly easy. I mounted the camera out doors under the roof of my deck. After getting acquainted with this system, I decided to purchase a second camera...and a third. I am very pleased with this system overall for the price. The night vision is not bad but I wish it extended an additional 15 feet or so. Daytime colors are good. No regrets with this system.
A word on Lorex Customer Service also seems appropriate.
Twice I had problems with the monitor. One time the SD card would not lock into place preventing any recording. The replacement monitor developed a problem where it would not change the menu when I pressed a corresponding key. Well, on both occasions, when I contacted Customer Service and it was determined that indeed there were problems Lorex shipped me the replacement monitor quickly.
I personally would recommend Lorex Technology security systems ( at least the one I am familiar with ) to anyone looking for a pretty good quality beginner security system.
