"I read mixed reviews before purchasing our system for the house and found out after receiving the system that some of those negative reviews were just plain false. Lorex seems to be on top of their game with the equipment and accessories that they make available.

In hindsight.. wish we would have purchased more than the 4 camera set up, just for more coverage because they are a very good asset to have at home."

"This is the second NVR System I have purchased within the last 3 months. I am installing them in apartment buildings that I own. I live 40 miles away form the buildings so I decided to install cameras in the buildings so as to be able to keep an eye on my investments.
One system has been on line for 2 months and the other for 3 weeks.

Set up and installation is relatively simple. The most time consuming portion of the installation was fishing the cables through various parts of the building and installing conduit for cameras that have been mounted on the outside of the buildings. A few simple hand tools, a drill and and a ladder is all that is needed for installation. Cameras were recognized by the NVR as soon as they were connected. The live and playback video is crystal clear. Night time playback is also quite good. Captured images print out clearly. Learning the set up was relatively easy. There were a few minor glitches with the software. I needed to contact Tech support twice. The two Tech support representatives I dealt with Maria and Christine were polite, knowledgeable and focused. They were able to fix the problem within a reasonable amount of time and both made arrangements to contact me the next day to insure that the system was working properly.

Overall I am satisfied with both the hardware and the software support. "

"I ordered a two wireless camera four channel Lorex system in 2011 and ordered an additional camera within the last year. The system has worked flawlessly and provided pictures for two incidents around my house. I provide a "homewatch" security service with the local Corp of Commissionaires and when asked for advice on security systems I always recommend Lorex recording systems.
