"I purchased the Home Monitoring System with 7 inch Monitor and 2 Wireless Cameras (model: SD72) thinking it would be great as I work from home and wanted to monitor the front of the house(i.e. the mail, deliveries and a wife with full hand needing the door opened). I called the sales team and asked for their help to find the best system to fit my needs and price. This was it and so I purchased it.

-What they don't tell you when you are looking, is that each wall between the monitor and the camera is the equivalent of 20 - 30 feet. Meaning that the really decent range the speak of is pretty bad when you count all of the walls. If you have a low signal from the camera, then the cameras just won't work at all.
-The motion detection sound great but you might as well just set the unit up to record 24 – 7. I tried this and every bug that passed the camera set off the motion detection, so I decreased the sensitive to its lowest setting in an attempt to resolve the issue but at that level a Mac Truck cant set of the motion detection.

It gets worse when you have issues with your unit and you call customer service or tech support. I had to contact them because my monitor freezes and even when I have half signal from the cameras I have no picture.
-They are overseas and are very hard to understand.
-Every time you call it is a 30+ minute wait.
-The replacement devices that they sent "should" take 14 days actually take 1 - 2 months I think, I am still waiting (if you have the same issues I did where you call and inquire after 20 days they will escalate the case for but that take 14 more days).
-When you get fed up like I did and just ask to process the return (60 day return policy) they let the return ticket sit for who knows how long (I am 2 weeks in and my return by date is fast approaching).
-Keep in mind to return you product, even if it is defective, you have to pay for the shipping.

Long story short the product is decent when it is working and the sales team is very helpful. If you have issues with your equipment then you will probably have a terrible experience like I have."

"The system is easy to set up and the software as I look over on how and what does what looks pretty easy. It was a great price for the 16 channels and the amount of cameras that came with this system. Over all I only have one con. Not knowing the picture on the wireless cameras has some interference from what I found out that making your own cables with RG59/u Siamese cable is not that compatible. The picture is there and looks good but there are horizontal lines that go through the picture which is from not using the pre made cables but the wired cameras look great even with using aftermarket cable. You have to use the pre-made cables to get a great picture for the wireless cameras. That's the only con."

"I bought this system back in July 8 2016 they shipped it out fast took a couple of weeks as it was coming from the U.S. when it came set up was easy had it up and running in no time. The system ran good for a month then one of my cameras went down. Being under warrantee I contacted customer service they said it would take 10 to 14 days to get a new camera. As of to day it has been all most 2 months now and when I try to contact then they say they are working on it. I wonder if it would be faster to just buy the new camera .As for the other camera it is working very good and as is the hard drive. "
