"I've placed a few orders with Lucky Gunner over the last year, have split more orders with friends as well, and I'm seriously loving this site.
On first glance, it doesn't wow you with it's glam factor and doesn't have many of the more advanced search components of other sites, but their prices are seriously competitive and compared to a lot of other online ammo suppliers lately, their shipping prices are awesome.
For the bulk buyer, like I am... it's just perfect. Buying a box at a time is always going to be cheaper locally, but for the bulk ammo, I have rarely found better prices, even after shipping (vs. the almost 10% sales tax where I live). Shipping is very fast... each time we've gotten our ammo in about a week with normal shipping. That's just about perfect to me.
And maybe this isn't an important part of their review to some, but they have really good customer interactions... the one time I've used customer service, I was responded to within an hour. They engage with their fans on Facebook, too! Shooting sports are already great fun, but this sort of interaction is above and beyond and does much for making customer loyalty (thus this review!)

Once when I went to buy some ammo there was none of my preference available at the moment so I sent an email. Customer service responded immediately with the restocking date.
Then to top that off they sent me an email when it arrived at their warehouse so I wouldn’t have to keep checking back.
This type of customer service just can’t be beat! (Their web site has a live inventory so you know exactly what, and how much is on the shelf at the time of your order. Once you place your order the inventory corrects itself immediately for the next customer.)
I know people sometimes complain about the shipping cost, but when you add in the local gun shop price with the state and local sales tax Lucky Gunner wins every time. Besides the ammo arrives two days later at your door step which is great.
