"I ordered a refurbished iMac from Mac of all Trades. When I received my machine it was making a very loud whining noise. The cooling fan was running at very high RPM. I emailed my issue and was told to check the settings or restart my machine holding certain keys down. Neither solved my issue. So my next option was to send it back (4 to 5 days shipping) and they would asses the situation and repair it or send me a replacement. Seeing that I use this for my business, I couldn't afford to be without it for 2 to 3 weeks. I was offered the option to buy a new machine at regular price and send the bad machine back and I would be refunded, and I would also be out of pocket that money for a week or 2. After several emails and phone calls I was offered an option to pay a deposit of half the amount and it would be refunded when the defective machine was returned. I went this route as it was my only option. Luckily I was able to keep the original keyboard as the second keyboard was extremely bent! The replacement machine also has large dent in the bottom right corner. I sent back an "excellent" machine for a "good" machine and was not discounted a single dollar. I also had to pay the return shipping. Long story short, very little support from customer service. I finally have a working machine but as my business grows and I purchase more iMacs and MacBooks, I WILL BE BUYING THEM ELSEWHERE.

If Mac of All Trades reads this, I would love my $60 for shipping your original broke machine back!!!"

"DO NOT BUY FROM MAC OF ALL TRADES!!! I bought a 2009 MacBook and when I recieved the computer it did not turn on. I thought it may just need to be charged so I plugged it in for about four hours and it still did not turn on. I called them and they told me to send it back and fill out a support ticket. I had it checked out at a local computer shop and they told me the motherboard was completely fried and they knew that they shipped me a bad computer. I got my money back but I would recommend not buying from these guys. They have terrible service and they sell bad computers/electronics to people ON PURPOSE. "

"I am very happy with my recent purchase of a 2008 Mac Pro.

My computer was shipped extremely fast, so fast that I was out of town when it was scheduled to arrive. However, I asked for them to require a signature with the shipping, so I did not have to worry about a stolen computer coming back into town. The computer was packed very well, and they used tamper proof tape. I was impressed with their shipping process.

I was not sure what to expect, but so far I am pleasantly surprised. Cosmetically, their were a few scratches on the case, but it is in excellent shape for a 2008 used computer.

Their price is what brought me to my purchase. Obviously, a 2008 computer is not new, and there are better computers available. For me to purchase this computer, I would need to make a few upgrades, so that it would be able to perform the things I require. As a result, I added up the upgrades and looked at the cost of a new computer. Mac of All Trades price was competitive, so I decided to take a chance with Mac of All Trades.

I have upgraded the memory to 32GB, and I now have a better startup disk that uses PCIe. This computer is now a beast and performs marvelously. It runs very fast, has 4 trays for hard drives, can use multiple monitors, and so much more. I expect to be using this computer for multiple years.

I have not had this computer for too long, but I am an Apple guy. I am pleased with my purchase and I will look to buy from Mac of All Trades in the future, especially If their prices stay competitive."

"Why do we purchase from online stores instead of going to retailers ? due to it is easier, just click, confirm, money sent, wait for shipment but not from this website, it is really tedious to purchase anything from them, first I placed an order, received confirmation email and waited..

"DO NOT BUT FROM MAC OF ALL TRADES I bought a mac book pro from them and the first time i turned it on it shut of, called them they said send it back. So I had to pay shipping back to them, they said there was nothing wrong with it. Got it back did the same thing shut off every time I tried to use the internet. Called again they said take it to a local Apple shop and have them look at it. I did that with in 5 mins they said the logic board was bad, but they had to send it directly to apple to fix they sent it in and fixed it. MAC of All Trades said they wouldn't cover the cost of over $400.00 because they didn't fix it. Even though I had already sent it to them once before. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place sending out bad computers and not even fixing them."

"Just got a macbook pro 2008 10.6.8. It seems to work, but it can't hold an internet connection. That is not on mac of all trades though. That is an apple thing. According to many other online reviews for this product. I can return the computer within 7 days for a refund minus shipping. Also Warranties are non-refundable according to mac of all trades policy. Warranty was 115$ , shipping was 30$ both ways. So either I keep the 600$ dollar computer that can not use internet(LOL), or I send it back and I am out 175$. Looks like mac of all trades wins-wins. Oh, and now mac of all trades will not let me sign into the account I created with them. I was getting in fine until I received the product(LOL) Bite me mac!"

"I was a little skeptical about selling my iMac to them, especially since I couldn't find any reviews of seller experiences with them outside of this website. I went ahead and did it anyways to save myself the trouble of selling it on eBay. I have to say I'm really happy with the whole process. I had the original box and packaging for the computer, so they just sent me a shipping label through USB and I dropped it off. I chose to receive the payment through PayPal since I was nervous about the whole transaction, and I received the payment SUPER fast after they received the computer. Of course, your regular PayPal fees apply, so you get a little less, but Mac of All Trades has nothing to do with that."
