Rarely I got few glitches using their site. Always minor.
The content is good and you will be well prepared. If you study and are well prepared you will pass with >95%

I never had to use their support. That shows that everything needed is in the course.

Even their checklist of documents to get your USCG license is perfect.
USCG had only few questions on my sea time. That's it.

"I ordered the OUPV 6 pack license one year ago to this day. I tried getting into a class about 3 hours from my location but with work and the commute it was impossible. So I found this through a little bit of research and read the reviews and there are some bad reviews but there’s bad reviews everywhere because you can’t please everybody. I read more Into Mariners learning system and was sold. I could do it anywhere anytime at my own pace how hard could it be right. I’m not into doing classes online or sitting at a computer but I will be the first to tell you, the simplicity of the platform was so easy. So if you’re not computer savvy do not worry you’re going to be fine. If you have issues the tech support is always available. Only tech issue I had was when I first tried to download and open the browser locker so I could take the exams. My laptop wouldn’t open it. I called tech support and Tiffany walked me through how to get this situation resolved. Was up and running in minutes. But let’s back track. So I knocked out the course in several months due to work and play etc. So June came around pretty quick I had until July 14th to complete everything including study study study and finish the chart plotting portion of the course work. I finally got all that done Monday the 4th of July. I fished the next couple of days and called Mariners and asked if I had to take the exams before the 14th. Nick told me I had to pass all exams and have them graded before the course expired July 14th. I was like holy crap. I busted my rear cramming all the information in my head. Spent hours upon hours doing chart word problems and memorizing everything that was instructed. On the 8th of July I sent off for my chart for the exam to be mailed to me it arrived on the 10th test day. I gave myself 4 days to test I knew I had to do this in a one and done or I would have to restart at zero. So I gave myself plenty of time for retest if I had to. I stayed up for 23 hours straight studied studied studied, worked about 50 word problems for charting to make sure I memorized the formulas needed to complete the word problems, around 2am I started testing. I took all 4 exams back to back because the material was fresh on my brain. I was falling asleep during rules of the road portion which was the last portion lol I was drained. But once I finished I caught a nap and called Nick at Mariners and let him know I finished and I needed to overnight my test chart back to them and I paid for expedited grading. Nick called me the following day and informed me I passed all but rules of the road. I missed that sucker by 2 questions. He informed me I could retest ASAP and he had an instructor call me and go over my questions I missed. Well I spent the next 5 hours reviewing and studying before retest. I took that retest at around 1 am took a nap and woke up today and called Nick back at approx. 0945 to see if I had to pay for another expedited grading he said no that my test was graded and I passed with a 90%. You can only miss 5 out of 50. I was like holy crap!!! I passed. I was super excited. So to sum this book I just wrote up in a few sentences. Mariners learning system did an amazing job helping me get this course done on time. I literally waited until the last minute to finish. I don’t advise anyone to do that but Nick and the entire crew at Mariners are beyond awesome. When they say they are there to help they mean it. I read a review that said they’re not legit and that they’ll set your course back to zero. Well let me tell you they did everything they could to make sure my **** stayed on this material and pass these exams before the last day. So please do not hesitate when deciding on where to take your online captains course. Look no further and go with Mariners. Get your **** over to their website and get the ball rolling. When you finish this course and pass all the exams you will be so excited and glad you made Mariners your choice. It’s been a great experience. Honestly it was pretty easy I just crammed it all in at the last minute and that was my fault I’m sure if I would have done it sooner it would have been so much easier. "Our catfish charter business was slow and I just turned 69 so when renewal came up I said “ I ain’t going through all those test, exams, doctor reports etc!
MISTAKE - Covid hit and a year later people were making up for lost fishing time. I was questioned one day by Officer Holliday ( very rude and not pleasant to deal with) because I had started doing a large amount of charters and he asked to see my Capt license. He made damn sure the USCG knew about it and cost me a $2000 fine!
I had to get a license ASAP and most license providers classroom courses were full! Mariners Learning System kept popping up everywhere I looked!
Not being too good with computers did not come into play. Once Nick and Capt Bob and many others got me set up I spent 5 weeks studying on line which included the books also in my situation and recommend both. As much as I called I always got a return call and they didn’t make me feel like a dummy!
Again I had a license but let it lapse on purpose so even though I had a license that expired I took that classroom course Feb 2007.
The pass rate I questioned 98.7%. I did not pass 1 section the first time around and did well on the others. I had to retake the section again because you could only get 5 wrong out of 50 and I only got 3 wrong the 2nd time which was awesome. MLS IS AFFORDABLE. Best thing was there were so many different tools to study in order to pass the test.
I’m back on the water doing charters again for BIGCAT GUIDE SERVICE!

"I took the 100-ton master, radio operator and towing endorsement courses from Mariners Learning System. I loved the flexibility of being able to do the work on my schedule. Did very well on all of the exams so the course material must be adequate. The proctored exams are actually done at home with your webcam and once you get the hang of them, are much, much easier than going to a testing center. Received my 100-ton master certification with towing endorsement so all is good. Warning, the USCG is very slow with applications (mine took over 2 months, with no errors in the application) so apply early if your livelihood depends on it."

"I've had a great time studying and passing my towing endorsement and six pack class. The materials you received and have access from this course are comprehensive and well-written. Mariners learning systems should be the standard way Mariners get a captain's license. You have plenty of time to study and fully absorb all the materials as opposed to a lot of the classes where you may try and learn all the in person information in a weekend or two.

With everything being online and downloadable you can go back and focus on the harder parts of the course like rules of the road and really memorize and learn the rules by heart. Everything is very straightforward and broken down into bite-sized chunks so you won't get overwhelmed.

Coast Guard test are definitely hard. but if to pass all the practice quizzes and module exams you will honestly learn the material as Mariners Learning System guides you through it. So you will definitely pass and get your license.

Value for Value this has been some of the best education I have gotten. Mariners Learning System also updates and regularly improves their curriculum. In the 3 months of studying I did for my six pack course I think they updated it twice. They're very quick in getting back to you if you need help with technical support or licensing question. They're also very quick in reviewing the proctored exams. They say it normally takes three to five business days. On all my tests I found out I passed within 48 hours. Mariners Learning System really is the best way to get any Coast Guard license.
