Your own doctor can do the physical examination if you do not have a family doctor most Emergency Care centers can perform a physical without an appointment. For the drug testing component a Quest Diagnostic (Quest Labs) or Laboratory Corporation of America (Labcorp) can do the drug testing for you. A quick Google search will show multiple locations in the area that you reside. These are just 2 of the many Department of Transportation (DOT) approved drug testing companies that can do the test for you. The required drug test and physical is basically the same one that all the truck drivers take for their commercial drivers license (CDL) so there are literally thousands of locations throughout the United States that can perform these services.

"The MLS course for the oupv w/ master upgrade was very very helpful! It is well organized with all the information needed to successfully pass your test and become a Merchant Marine Officer. I was impressed with the Multiple ways to learn each section, such as reading material (all the books) with quizzes in them, Online lectures with quizzes, and DVDs. As everyone knows, there is a lot of knowledge needed to be learned to pass your captains test. With this course, I was able to learn the required knowledge in 14 days and successfully test out for Master OUPV! I don't recommend Cramming the whole course in 2 weeks, But I needed to meet my own deadline for my circumstances. Would have been nice to take my time with it, but with what I accomplished goes to show how well set up this course really is!"

The sections that you passed go into the bank and you only need to retake the part which you missed. Call our office @ (609) 303-0664 and one of our instructors will pull your test and review the questions that gave you trouble. We wrote both the course and the final exam so our staff will be able to identify the areas you need to work on and provide any necessary guidance. You are 3/4 of the way done... Don't give up now!
