"All was well until I opened the package and found out that the item I received was misrepresented on the website. This is quite understandable when there is a disclaimer of sorts to go along with it...there is no such thing anywhere on the MicroPro site that I could find.
I needed a specific item as shown in the picture on their site...I also visited the manufacturer's site and the picture was the same. I first sent an email to MicroPro describing my problem and my unhappiness with the situation. After 24hrs of not receiving a reply, I called...only to sit there waiting while no one in Tech Support answered the phone (10 min)...and then was redirected to an answering machine.
I tried again, this time going straight to the sales dept., I was told that I had to talk with Tech and was transferred. The tech rep had no idea what I was talking about and tranferred me back to sales where I was once again told I need to speak with tech...after explaining that I just came from tech and retelling the story of my problem I was put on hold (another 5-10 min) only to have the sales rep return and regurgitate the same nonsense that the tech gave me.
At this point, I'm fed up and ask for an RMA. I have to ship back at my expense to get a refund that doesn't include the shipping costs I had to pay to receive the wrong item in the first place. so...now I'll be out the item I wanted and $20 for shipping both ways.
Not a good experience..I would be wary of this group.

"I purchased a Xeon 2.2 processor from this unworthy sales company. It has been a week and a half and their website still says my order is being prepared for shipment. I sent an email today to cancel my order and I left a message on their answer machine telling them to cancel. I was initially dissapointed by their higher than pricewatch advertised shipping charges and especially.. no tracking order except the lame invoice number that tells you nothing more than a brief on ur item. I would highly recommend NOT PURCHASING FROM THIS STORE. There are plenty other to choose from."
"I guess I was either fortunate to get good service, or to not read this forum before I ordered. I had very good service from them. I ordered a Tyan motherboard with AMD processors. My customer service rep was Vladimir (I called) and he was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the service, time it took to ship (they install and test the processors first) and pretty much everything about them. I'm more than willing to use them again based on my experience vs some of the other comments here.

"I ordered a stick of Crucial and a Volcano 7+ from them. After waiting for two days for it to ship out, I call and they tell me it will be shipped out on Friday (the next day). Friday comes around, and nothing, so I call again on Monday and they tell me that the parts are still not in stock... They have okay prices and they seem to want to help, but the customer service reps don't seem to know if anything is in stock. Shipping was a bit steep too, $17 for just ram and a heatsink via ups ground. I ended up cancelling and ordering from someone else."
"My order was back ordered with no notification. They were also unable to tell me when my order was going to be available, so I was forced to cancel.
This was an item I needed immediately, and on which I had been willing to pay for overnight FedEx. I'm extremely irritated that their web site did not correctly indicate the status of the item, and that they did not inform me of the change in status of my order. It read simply "It's being processed in the warehouse" with no notice to me that it was on back order."

"Well, this is a somewhat long post (Forgive my misuse of Capitals and punctiuation, I use both sporadically). Ok here is my story about Micro Pro. I placed my order on June 5th pretty late, so my CC Info did not get validated until the next day, so it didnt ship until the 6th, which was a thursday. I continue to check my order through their tracking system all day on thursday. It was shipped that day so I was VERY impressed. On friday I checked my order status around 10 am EST. The package was IN MY CITY THAT DAY AT 9:35 am. I was like ROCK!!!! BUT, since I only specified 2 day deilvery, it was NOT shipped to my house, even though they could have EAISLY got it to my house that day. I was VERY upset, in a funny way though, just the fact that it was in my city waiting to be shipped, but since it was a weekday and 2 days after thursday was saturday and things dont get shipped on saturdays, sooooo, I get my things tommrow, I will update about my order then. PS, I bought a Motherboard, a processor, and a fan/heatsink combo. Hope it all gets here. (Like I said, I dont use captials and punctuation correctly at all.)"
"Ordered over the phone on Monday the 13th, was told it was in stock (website also showed this) and that it would ship out that day or the next.
I wait till Wednesday and finally call because the website has not shown it as even being processed.
They tell me they are out of stock, they tell me they DID have it in stock on monday tho.
Now I have to wait for them to get it.
Well it's over a week later, Tuesday the 21st and I just cancelled my order, they were just shipped their order from visiontek yesterday and will get it friday, so I would get to wait another week most likely.
The other company I just ordered from has it in stock and is shipping it TODAY. Plus I got cheaper and faster shipping!"
"I do not recomend. I placed an order for a Visiontek GF4600 on Monday online. Website stated that it was in stock. I received an email shortly afterwards stating that they could not verify my shipping address with my cc company of which I had just done prior to placing my order. After several phone calls to their internet department with a not so friendly attendant i was told they would try again and I would recieve an e-mail. On wednesday morning I spoke with a manager who said he would look into the matter and call me back. By late afternoon I still had heard nothing and called the internet sales department back again to check status. Finaly he came back on the phone and told me that apparently they must be out of stock and that is why it hasnt shipped. I told the individual to cancell my order and do not charge my cc which apparently they did. The online status of my order still indicates that the order is being processed and I have not received a reply to the e-mail I sent the their customer service department requesting a complete refund. I feel like I was put off for three days when all they had to do was tell me that the item was not in stock. Very frustrating. I eventually found another site in CA. by the name of gamesve.com to fill my order. Lawrence was extreamly helpful and my order went out the same day wednesday and I should have it by Friday. I have a tracking number and it's comming my way. It is unfortunate but I cannot recomend micropro."
"1) Stated on both Pricewatch and their own site that the Chaintech TI 4600 Special was in stock when it wasn't yet their site and pricewatch still showed them as having the video card in stock for 3 days afterwards until I complained to Pricewatch upon which they corrected their web site stock status.
2) I cancelled my order because of the above. It has been almost a week now and they still show my reference # as out of stock expected tomorrow... which it has been cancelled since Friday last week!
3) When I called their "Customer Service" department to see how it was that a "authorization" for my credit card had now become a "charge" When the order has been cancelled again since Friday of last week, they really didn't care and the attitude was very unpleasant from them.. Like I was bothering them! Still this situation has not been resolved I now have gotten my credit card company involved and am very angry that they treat their customers with such disdain and non-caring attitude! I will never order from them again and I will do all I can to tell as many of my friends both ofline and on what kind of treatment to expect from Micro Pro and there commitment to customer satisfaction!

"I guess I got lucky, I ordered a PNY GF4 TI4600 from them which I found through pricewatch. My order was shipped out the next day and I got it on time. When I e-mailed them to confirm that they had charged me the pricewatch price and not their retail price they responded promptly with confirmation.
Although the wranings from this website have now shown me that it's probably best that I avoid them for future purchases. Thanks all."
"I ordered a Chaintech Geforce4 TI4600 from these guys. Used the pricewatch online link, and it sent me to the model with the reduced price (I accesed it straight up from the site and it gave me the regular price, so this new link was convienuit)
Ordered on a tuesday, was stated in stock, however the reference number stated no stock/expected tommorow for 6 days.. It did not ship until the following monday, this made me angry at first, but after it finaly arrived on thursday in one piece and working condition, i forgive the fact that it shipped late because the card and all alike were in high demand then.
Nice sales rep who was finaly accurate on the next day arrival when i called, nice service/price, would buy again!"
