"Ordering Office 2019 was easy and downloading it was simple. But finding it in my "start" was not so easy; it did not alphabetize with the total list, and when I did find it, it only said "Office", not Office 2019 which was what I was expecting. I also have Office 2014 in my startup list, so at first I thought my new 2019 Office didn't download properly.
Once I did click onto it, I opened it and clicked onto "Word" as I needed to edit a document. I couldn't copy and paste an old document into the blank open document to work on it. I couldn't seem to open my document directly into this Word as well. I hunted for other ways to do it, and was unsuccessful. I finally had to retype the entire doc, editing as I went, which frustrated me to no end, taking an extremely extra amount of time.
Once I was finished, I tried to save it to my thumb drive F. It wouldn't! I tried different ways, but no success. I finally saved it to my computer documents file, copied it to my desktop, then copied the copy to my thumb drive. Why can't I save to one source without multiple steps? Talk about frustrated!!
It was easy to save the doc to the "cloud", but I do not want my documents floating out there!!! I don't trust my stuff being out there. I only want my documents located on my thumb drive, which I can carry with me at any time.
I thought Office 2014 was much more user friendly than Office 2019 overall...Just sayin...
