"I discovered Midway doing a search for a particular item and they by far had the best price. Hesitantly I did reviews on the company and found these reviews. I saw a single positive review that was recent and many more about a week prior that were negative.
I decided it was worth a shot and my order came in timely! The order arrived today which was 6 days from the time I placed my order. As several other reviews I promptly received a tracking number but mine was accurate.
I also noticed today that Midway sent me an email apologizing for the issues they had with delayed orders over the past 2 months. They even took accountability and admitted to shutting down their chat and phone service. WOW. I cringed reading some of these reviews seeing that they lost several life long customers. This was my first time using them and it definitely seems like they have their act back together. Apparently they have also done hiring due to the increase in volume they've experienced.
Everyone makes mistakes! I will continue to shop with them. "
"Placed an order with midway three weeks ago it was not listed is back ordered and sent a tracking number item is now missing UPS or the post office cannot find it and have no record of it being picked up midway will not respond except for saying sorry or they are overrun with customer service issues and no employees . but had no problem taking my money out of the bank."

"I tried ordering a Gun Saturday, but their checkout wouldn't allow changes for FFL dealer, which my FFL was listed as Inactive. I had already spoke to my FFL dealer, no problem. 3 Guns available, so Monday I ordered (1 Gun) available, had to choose different FFL. I tried calling, I tried online chat , nope, I emailed them and my FFL dealer did too. I got a email yesterday I had to use their choice of FFL dealer, emailed back OK no problem, please proceed and process my order. Today Thursday, I get a email saying they cancelled my order, No Gun available. WTH !!!!!!!!! on top of that I could have ordered Monday from another Company for a few dollars more. Now everyone ( about 15 dealers) don't have my gun and are Out of Stock. I'm in my 60"s and worked Customer Service most of my life, if I had ever provided this kind of crappy CS, I wouldn't have had a job. Totally amazing this company has stayed in business. Hope they refunded the ammo too, I don't need it or can't use it."
"Placed an order with MidwayUSA for 500 rounds of ammo. They shipped it to the wrong state and city (how does that happen?) resulting in my order being returned to MidawayUSA. I alerted MidwayUSA of their mistake. Instead of MidwayUSA correcting their mistake and redirecting the package in mid-shipment to my address (UPS provides this service) or reshipping my "paid-for" order immediately to my address after MidwayUSA receives the returned package, MidwayUSA told me I had to reorder this product and then they would ship the "reorder" to me. MidwayUSA is now out of stock for this product (as is everyone else now) and has no idea when they will have this product in stock. So how am I suppose to reorder this product from MidwayUSA? Bottom line, I'm not getting what I ordered and paid for initially. And MidwayUSA claims Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal...". What a joke!
I wouldn't recommend ever using MidwayUSA for purchasing anything online. "

I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. I placed an order on December 13 and was given a date of December 19 for delivery. Tracking stopped locating the package after the 16th. It’s now the 24th and I’ve emailed three times and customer service continues to tell me I need to wait until January 1 to file a claim. Are used a company called primary arms to order a replacement and it was delivered three days after I ordered. I would never use midway again

"Ordered and delivered on time but air rifle was delivered loose in a box and the scope was not secured properly within the box. There was also a strategic and dangerous "E" clip that secured the magazine to the rifle was missing!
Customer service responded that I call the manufacturer for the part.
Why don't you call them and have it shipped to me!

" Ordered a pricey scope for a bear hunt 2 weeks from the date I ordered it. Shipping estimate says delivery in a week which was OK. 12 days later I had to cancel my hunt NO SCOPE. I think they are shipping via pony express! They could have put it in a "if it fits it ships" box from USPS and it would have been here in 3 days max. Plus they wouldn't give me free shipping, I had to pay $18.57. I suppose that pays for some horse feed."

Midway is a hick run operation with an outdated customer service department / shipping department. They aren't given the tools are the knowledge to track lost orders. If you complain to a "floor manager" they will tell you that Midway has a million customers and most are happy. Lol

"Have tried MidwayUSA on and off over the past several years. I've found competitive prices and quick shipping but also the worst customer service, the worst shipping department and a review/feedback system I wouldn't trust. My very first order found a metal ammo box with a hundred rounds of .50 BMG inside a box with several other items; all with room to move about. Needless to say, everything inside was crushed, damaged to the point of not being usable. Upon further inspection, I was shorted three rounds to boot! I contacted support, wrote a review and waited for a remedy to my woes. The review was approved and posted to their site within the day. Four days later, it was removed (obviously not for content or they wouldn't have approved it in the first place). All of this was before I received a reply from customer service. It took another three weeks to get a resolution and two additional weeks for them to address the missing rounds. Although I should have told myself to stop there, I didn't and have placed four more orders over the course of the last three years. All but one arrived with shipping damage and although UPS/FedEx/USPS are not the most gentle of people, this was all on MidwayUSA, their shipping department and mostly on their choice of packaging. The last of which was a roughly 12" x 15" padded envelope with case gauges and items haphazardly tossed inside. Gauges came out of their boxes during shipping and were hitting each other as well as additional products within the same envelope; damaged items again. Prices can be good, especially if you have a coupon or a birthday discount. But to be honest, the savings are not worth the headache dealing with the poor shipping practices (I paid for the above shipping so God only knows what you'll get with the free option), damaged items and poor customer service. Shop elsewhere. You'll thank me. Oh and to add to this, when I asked MidwayUSA's customer service about the missing review on their site, I was told they don't manage it and it was out of their hands!?!"
"Midway double billed me for my order and then said I back ordered a product. I never back ordered anything. Don't trust Midway. They charged me $98 twice for my one order. I'm done with them"

"I've ordered from Midway for a few years without a problem. Their prices are higher than others and their service is no better but they've had little things I needed that others didn't carry.
But I ordered a box of Lapua brass and they packed it in a shipping bag. Naturally, the hard plastic box was smashed into a million pieces. They should have known better, that was 100% their stupidity. When I emailed them they said they are not responsible for they way the package was handled but anyone with a brain knows you don't ship a hard plastic box in a bag. They let me print out a return shipping label. I emailed them and asked them to ship the new brass while I return the other and they won't do it. So their mistake cost me money for gas and driving time and it will take probably 3 weeks before my order is filled. Their mistake should not cost me anything in time or money."
