"10.2.11 - Placed order for stock and barrel for Mossberg 500.

10.14.11 - contacted customer service for tracking. They had no idea when it was going to ship. Stated they would call me back.

10.17.11 - contacted customer service for tracking. They stated all products were in stock and would ship out right away.

10.19.11 - contacted customer service for tracking. They stated barrel has been out of stock the entire time and that I told them I was willing to wait an additional 3 weeks. Not true. Canceled barrel and continued waiting for tracking on stock.

10.21.11 - finally received an invalid tracking number so had to call again to get the real tracking.

10.26.11 - received a used product with bolt that had been cross threaded and no instructions included.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS. THEY HAVE OVER 100 WEBSITES AND UNDER 20 EMPLOYEES. THEY DO NOT STOCK ANYTHING. THEY WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR CUSTOMERS TO PLACE ORDERS AND THEN STOCK THAT AND THEN SHIP TO YOU. THEY MAY BE CHEAP BUT THEY ARE NOT CHEAPERTHANDIRT(.com).

"Terrific. The first order arrived and the second shipped with expected delivery times. Descriptions on the items I ordered were accurate and the photos detailed. My subsequent questions to staff were answered quickly and courteously. I feel that I have found my sole source for hunting and firearm supplies. Thank you! "

"Ordered product, no update on shipping, had to call them to see when it was to ship. Apparently I interrupted the young lady as she was not happy with my call. She then informed me my product was on back order. If I hadn't called them, i would have been waiting a while. Price was right online, easy to do when you don't have the product."

"When ordering a few things at once, some things ship before others. This leads me to believe that some items are not in stock. It would be helpful if the website could give some idea if stock was low and I was going to be waiting longer for certain items. This happened to me 3 times in as many months.

Prices are great, customer service is good.

"i would have to say this is the worst online purchase ever made took 3 weeks to get a gun that was "in stock", plus i ordered a scope with it which i just found out i cannot get which was also in stock, and was no notified at all but had no problem charging me for it. "

"Horrible customer service! First you get an order confirmation email that only contains an order reference number and the total amount. The next day you get another email from them letting you know that you need to call them to verify your billing and shipping address otherwise your order will be canceled. You call them and they ask for an order number, mind you that when you give them the order reference number is not the same as the order number. I had to call twice till finally a lady was able to find my order. I’ve been waiting eight days for my items to ship, their website says they had the items on stock, but apparently they did not. I called twice to check on my order status. The first time the costumer rep told me he was going to call me back, never did. The second time, another rep told me that the items would most likely ship by the following week (really, three weeks to fulfill an order?) I ask him to cancel the order and he said he needed approval to see if he could cancel my order and to see if I was going to be charge any fees… Really? I had to point the rep to their Order Status FAQ’s so that he could see that if an order is in back order I would not be charged. "

"Before you even think about placing an order with MidwestHuntersOutlet.com/TGSCOM, Inc. please read the below correspondence I had with their customer service department. Also keep in mind their wedsite stated this item was "In Stock", which is why I ordered from them! You be the judge!

I apoligize for being so "assertive" (for lack of a better term) but I think we need to iron out an exact date as to when my scope is shipping. This stems from getting an email from MidwestHunters this morning with a status update. Once again, all it states is "Order Confirmed/Processing". Also, I just got through with a supplier who for a different part and he ironed down an exact ship date!

I talked to my purchasing agent and he replied this order is part of a purchase order that requires a certain amount of product before it ships to our company. That amount has not been met. It is on temporary hold until the amount meets their requirement. How long that will take, we don't have a clue, it could be one week it could be three. I apologize for this frustrating circumstance. If you do wish to cancel his order just reply to this e-mail or call ***-***-**** and talk to when the customer service reps.
